We played Norte + Links on 19 Jan 2012. Dry, mainly sunny with some clouds, ca 20°. Links is "links" just by name: it doesn't look nor feel like the real thing. Both courses (Norte + Links) are well maintained, look fine, have nice views, although the Links nine are i.m.o. more pleasant. I don't like the blind shots one has to resort to. Beware for laying up at Links hole 4: the water is closer than you anticipate (rather: I anticipated ...). Small things: no logo balls, no stroke saver. Pitch fork for the collection ok. Conclusion: this is yet again one of the many golf courses available, though slightly more attractive then Amarilla which we played two days earlier. But every course, and every game, is a very personal experience.

Gespielt Links Course und South Couse (Sur). Der Platz ist ordentlich gepflegt, breite Fairways und viele Waste Areas. Das Flight Management hingegen ist eine reine Katastrophe. Wir hatten vor uns einen 3er Flight und davor einen MEGA lahmen 4 er Flight, nicht das ich etwas gegen langsamer Spieler hätte - ganz im Gegenteil- wenn man aber permanent wartet und dann vom Marshall aufgefordert wird doch schneller zu soielen, da hinter einem Clubmitglieder spielen ist ne Frechheit. Etikette wird hier scheinbar auch nicht großgeschrieben, da wild drauflosgeschlagen wird obwohl wir noch in Reichweite waren. Bis auf den treibenden Marshall und die Gefahren denn man sich aussetzt, eine nette Golfrunde. Die Flugzeugthematik ist heftig, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.
