The 160 hectare large complex of the oasis of luxury ABAMA spreads at its quiet location at the west coast of Tenerife from the softly downward sloping hills of the old Teide Volcano down to the Atlantic Ocean. The exclusive ABAMA Wellness & Spa Centre with its expressive design offers innovative treatments with high-quality products on an area of 2.500 square metres. Its own white sandy beach at a sheltered bay with crystal clear Atlantic water invites you to take a relaxing bath. The all in all eight swimming pools and two natural rock swimming basins ensure varied bathing opportunities. A special jewel in the crown of the ABAMA-Resort is the 18-hole Championship golf course (nine additional holes are being built right now). The golf legend Dave Thomas included the special topography of the island in the design of the course: The lowest level is situated at an altitude of 78 metres and the highest point is 315 metres above sea level. This way a golf course that is unique in Europe was created. The golf course with a length of 6.237 metres with par 72, rolling fairways, many water and bunker hazards as well as large often terraced greens is only playable with buggies – at ABAMA they even have GPS.
