Navarre, Aragon, La Rioja

The historic region of Navarre lies in the north of Spain. It borders France in the north, Aragon in the east, Castile and Leon in the south, and with La Rioja and the Basque Country in the west.

Wine gives La Rioja its name. Or is it the other way round? It represents the basis of its wealth and a reference for our culture.The autonomous region of La Rioja lies in the north of Spain. It borders the Basque Country and Navarre in the north, Aragon in the east, and Castile and Leon in the south and east.

Aragon borders France in the north, Catalonia and Valencia in the east, Castile-La Mancha in the south, and Castile and Leon, La Rioja and historic Navarre in the west. The region can be separated into three different areas: the central area consisting of the Ebro basin, the northern area where the Pyrenees lie, and the area made up of the Iberian mountain range. The Ebro basin is a vast flat lowland arising around the axis formed by the Ebro river, bordering with the Pyrenees in the north and with the Iberian mountain range both in the northwest and southeast of the region.
