the golf course was in good shape and has, because it's an old course, old trees along the fairways. ok to play, but nothing fancy. to mee, too much flat and back and forth.
the minus points are the following.
- phone booking max. one week in advance
- and sorry to say: they have some very snobby german members. when you have to play with them, good heavens… i had the last 5 years three encouters with such, it's enough!

We have now played the course a second time, after the greens were freshly annealed (holotining) the first time. Not top class, but nice, fair parkland course. A little bumpy up to the fairways and off the same, but the course is certainly part of the second division in the Cape Town region. So it's worth it.

At the moment the fairways are mostly in a lamentable condition. Better laying is the order of the day, but often in the range of 5 or more club lengths. there is always a patch of grass somewhere.
The bunker sand tends towards concrete.
The greens are easy to play. however, they are at different speeds in a loose and irregular sequence, which is also frustrating.
Before that doesn't get any better, i can only recommend this place to those who have a high potential for frustration.
