Vila Sol is situated in the middle of Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago and is a masterpiece of a Portuguese golf course. The Algaebe golf boom made it necessary to expand Vila Sol by 9 holes in the early 2000s.
The old course 1-18 is top notch and doesn't need to hide behind the big Algarve courses, on the contrary! Holes 18-27 are a bit bland and a little boring for my taste.
So always focus on holes 1-18…:-) !
