Really nice course

I played this course in February 2014. It's around 50 KM (30 Miles) north of Khon Kaen town.
I understand the course was built and is owned buy the water company who have a hydro electric power station nearby.
It's an 18 hole course and the green fees midweek are 300 baht for 18 holes, that's around £6, a caddie will cost 200 baht (£4) and club hire is extra. I have to say I was disappointed with the clubs I rented. Very old woods and the head fell off the pitching wedge. Best to have your own.
It's a very green course as there is an abundant supply of water from the nearby Dam. the greens are in nice condition as are the fairways.
Nice facilities, restaurant, showers etc.
Overall I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend an average golfer would like the course.
Definitely would return to play again

Very nice facility

A golf course in a beautiful landscape. The large Buddha statue on the Ubonratanastausee can be seen from almost all points of the golf course.
The greens and the fairways were great 22 years ago and are still very well maintained today. Even the semi-rouph's are even better than many fairways on many golf courses at home.
The complex is very varied, many water hazards, some of them due to the river Phong (Thai NamPhong) and some side arms and a few lakes. The whole place is located in a beautiful park on the reservoir, with natural forests.
All 3 to 4 lanes is a food kiosk.

Very well maintained complex, including the buildings, the restaurant, the golf shop and the shower and changing rooms.
The prices for all green fees, caddies, golf cars, food and drinks are affordable for everyone.
This golf course is only recommended.
