Always a great day

Sticky Willie by name and probably by nature. Total fabrication and don't believe it for a minute. I've played here on and off for 15 years and always got a good welcome. Great course and clubhouse, good food and always a chat. I'd say your man must be a fairly obnoxious individual to my mind.

Really nice golfcourse

Over 100 years old is this course one of the best parkland-challenges around. I've been playing the course regularly for more than 10 years when I'm on holiday in the Cappawhite-area. The holes are well maintenanced and offer priceless views on the Galtees. A pleasure to play! A good down-earthy restaurant with nice staff. What more can you ask for??
See you around in summer!

Great Course

I played this course with my friends on many occasions over the years and always found it in excellent condition. I cannot understand the comments of sticky willie and it seems to me that he is someone with an agenda. All the golf courses in this area are excellent and good value for money. The Green Fee at Tipperary is €20 every day and to the best of my knowledge was never €35.

A low man's dream

Played Tipperary golf club last Tuesday in there weekly Tuesday singles competition, the course is in the best nick i have seen for years. green are like lighting super sneaky greens, breaks you just cant see. combining with tight fairways and well placed trees the course is just getting better with age. any low hcp golfer dream course

Stay away from this dump

Played this course with my 2 old friends twice in Sept 09.
On both visits we were treated like second class golfers. The greens staff were rude and unhelpfull, while playing their signature hole the 15th, i spoke with the head green keeper about what club to use and was tolf to F**K Off to back where ever we came from and that we were not welcome. The club pro was the only plus point of the day he was helpful.
The course was a mess, bunkers not raked rubbish bins full of empty drinks cans and bottles.
The greens were poor, the fairways were the worst i have seen in 40 years of golf.
The Clubhouse was smelly, the restaurant was untidy and the food was very average.
So in a nut shell course is over priced €35 was the fee both times, its not worth €15 at the most. We all agreed we would never go back and we want to warn anyone thinking about playing Tipperary to avoid it at all the costs.
Its quite clear to us, the management committee of the course is second rate, we played Ballykisteen just 3k down the road it was far superior and we were welcomed by James the manager in person and could not do enough for us on our day there.
So take our word it Tipperary Golf Club is nothing more than a dump
