Bunker without end

Played on 1/24/24 Fareways, bunkers and green in perfect condition.
Fareways had to be looked for on certain holes between the bunkers; therefore very difficult to play.

Ernie did well

Played on 3/21/2023. Designed by Ernie Else, the 18 holes are located just outside of Dubai between the Jumeirah Golf Estate and Trump International Golf Club in a district called Dubai Sport City. The signs to the club could be a bit clearer. The design is a varied resort course with lots of waste areas and some very deep and well placed bunkers (not quite as extreme as on the Earth course). There are also two/three lanes where water comes into play. You should do yourself a favor and, depending on your HC, take the front tee box for the tees and not overestimate yourself, even if most of the fairways are very open. The fairways are mostly surrounded by pretty villas, some of which are still under construction, as you can see and hear, as is the case with almost all courses in Dubai. The condition was impeccable, the greens slightly undulating and fast. Some greens, for example on the 9, have sharply sloping edges, so that the ball may roll in front of your feet again. There are one or two refreshment stations on the course and you can tap water at least every second hole. Game operations on a Tuesday morning were lively but not overcrowded. We paid €135 per person for the green fee, booked via the VIJA app with an early bird discount. Cart with GPS and range balls are included. The clubhouse is large and modern. A bag and a few utensils by Ernis Els are on display in the men's changing room with a relaxation basin. The employees, from the ProShop to the starters, are all very friendly. After the round, of course, the clubs are cleaned. You really can't go wrong here, in my opinion the Else Course is one of the more interesting courses in Dubai and is worth playing.

Very good place

Played on 11/18/2022 Place layout and care very well. Difficult to play because the flags were very demanding today. With Dubai Hills the best place in Dubai. 👍😊
