The 54-hole course, spread across 300 hectares, offers pure golfing pleasure for every handicap, with two driving ranges and three 18-hole courses: Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo Course Berlin, and Stan Eby. While the Nick Faldo Course Berlin, one of the toughest Scottish links courses with its 133 pot bunkers, entices even the best players to come out of their comfort zone, the Arnold Palmer, with its ancient trees, invites you to fully enjoy the magnificent parkland and the course's harmonious integration into nature. The Stan Eby Course, with its panoramic location on one of the highest points in the resort, is not to be underestimated. A Difficult Inland Links Not For The Fainthearted.

Like the other reviews state... you need to bring your A game to the Faldo Platz. It is a serious course, well designed inland links style, and you need to be accurate in order to stay out of the bunkers and enjoy the day.
The Palmer course is parkland and a lot easier on your body & soul. A pleasant parkland design where you can shape your ball around the lush trees. A must visit course even if it's just for the reference point of how tough a serious golf course can be.

We played the Palmer Course and the Stan Eby Course at the end of April 2026 in pleasant spring temperatures.
Palmer Course: For us, the most beautiful course on the property. Holes 1-9 are perhaps a touch easier to play. Each hole is framed by woods, but the woods hardly come into play. This contrasts with the sometimes very large bunkers. The course was in excellent condition during our visit. The predominantly large and impeccably maintained tee boxes were particularly striking. There are six of these per hole, allowing everyone to choose their preferred tee length. Only the greens weren't yet in perfect condition – due to the time of year – but they were still perfectly playable.
Stan Eby Course: Initially, holes 1-7 seem somewhat arbitrary in terms of layout. From hole 8 onwards, it becomes more exciting, partly due to larger water hazards and partly due to the terrain. Overall, the course plays longer due to the hilly topography. Furthermore, the constant slopes and undulating greens with run-off areas make the game more challenging. If you hit the green in the wrong spot, the ball can quickly end up in a greenside bunker or far below the green. This course was also in very good condition – the greens were already top-notch.
We did not play the Faldo Course (left style with 132 pot bunkers), which is also part of the complex, this time.
Thanks to the new operator UGOLF – independent of the hotel – the facility has been restored to its former glory. The only downside: the McEwan Short Course has been returned to nature due to lack of use.
This hotel, which is around 30 years old and now under the management of the Precise Group, is highly recommended. The excellent cuisine (breakfast and dinner buffets) and spa deserve special mention. The rooms have been renovated, and minor issues are constantly being addressed. The staff are consistently very friendly and helpful.
For us, the combination of golf course with directly attached hotel and three completely different courses is once again number 1 in Germany.

Those who use online options can play significantly cheaper. Stan Eby is often unfairly underrated. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy a good round of golf at the restaurant. Service and quality are abysmal. Unfortunately, there seems to be no sense of leadership responsibility. The only option is to pack up and find something else. But we'd be happy to come back for golf.
