...Florida feeling...

...it's good, it could be a blueprint for one of the many Florida courses. The palm trees that line the fairways and then all the water, only the recently planted olive trees reveal that this is not the case.

We played a round here once in 2002, the notes say we didn't have any fun. This was mostly due to the weather conditions, rainy and wet, and the ground was even deep...

The completely flat course doesn't serve 340 meters per hole, but we still pushed our teeth, no free meters, no...

Now we have played our second round here, a different kind of golf...

The course designers are completely unknown to us.

This course is one of three in the Algarve that the Nau Hotel & Resort operates.

Beautiful course, without houses within the complex.

We don't repeat ourselves, Gerhard2001, Spirit of the Game, Oldive, IvanSchroeter and magickt get to the point regarding the course description.

Course maintenance good to very good, thanks to this it is enough for a solid four stars - five stars is not an issue, you need a lot more...

Place with lots of water near a nature reserve and the sea

We played in mid-November in perfect conditions (no wind and 23 degrees). The course was very busy, so there were a lot of spike marks and pitch marks on the greens.

Everything has already been said about the place. Some of them are quite short. But always with water! From yellow 5,700 meters, from white around 6,100 meters.

There is a birdie book. The distances from the tea are only measured from the white teas. The starters only allow HCP 4 and better onto the white tees. A birdie book is still useful to be able to better understand the course of the course. It also contains tips on sensible strategies

The course borders a beautiful nature reserve (lagoon). There is also an attractive sandy beach not far from the golf course (Praia Grande). There is a long wooden boardwalk through the lagoon. Our tip: early tea time + exploration of the nature reserve with a visit to the beach.

Since many of the courses are similar in layout and there is no DR (only tees into a net possible) - 4 stars.

Nice place the 2nd

2 days in other places not lost a ball. Then came Salgados with extreme wind and lots of water. Still it was a lot of fun. Play again? YES
