Enjoyable mature course

We played on a Wednesday and it was a shotgun start thing and it was busy so avoid this day in the week. It was slooow...
Course was very nice, greens were hard and fast and with lots of contours making them hard to play, you need to setup your approach so its an uphill putt, green are so fast. Bunkers good and soft and its quite scenic with lots of water features and some great par 5 holes.

Driving range is good as well and resto was fantastic!

Changing rooms good, I can't remember the green fees we paid I think it was 700 or 800 and caddy 300 (tip extra). We had to walk it given the day and situation and the poor old caddy was suffering bless her. Normally would get a cart in the heat.

Hope to get out again before I head away!

New Year with Gulf disappointment

We wanted to play on 01/01/15 Cheap Rd in Bangkok. Call for tee time were u Fee (700 THB) agreed. The 1.Überraschung came in the form of a more than double the price. The 2nd part were the ancient and more than simple rental clubs. 3. The caddies were unmotivated, which also did not speak English. Tips were given virtually no, but the shot was taken when he was 50 cm in front of the hole! The course itself was spectacular and reasonably maintained.

Fun-place

One should be 'fixed airport', because the course is directly under the flight path of the old BKK airport.

But the fairways and Gruen require partially precise game. There are often water obstacles, even partially around the Gruen.

The caddy then ask urgently otherwise a ball goes sometimes quite unexpectedly lost.

On weekends the place is very crowded and it is started in Gunshot; einaml early in the morning, then again at 12h noon.

Caddie was nice, friendly and sometimes helpful.

The restaurant is simple but not bad.

Dressing and toilet facilities are old but still ok.
