Riviera Golf

The Riviera Golf course of San Giovanni in Marignano is just 2 km from the motorway exit of Cattolica (Rimini), and is open from 2004.

The first 11 of the 18 holes shown in the golf project lie on the left bank of the river Conca, which, behind the golf course, forms an enormous lake inhabited all year round by various non-migratory and migratory birds, making it an environmentally and naturally important natural oasis.

The golf course develops over gentle hills amidst kiwi crops, vines, woodlands and nature areas.

The individual holes have been adapted to suit the natural lie of this environmentally important land, in order to create a path in complete harmony with the landscape, and with high technical-golfing value.

Some marginal areas have been left hole, whilst trees, including the peach orchard, have been transplanted and now not only create a beautiful floral display, enhancing the landscape, but also create a barrier between one hole and the next, and form ecological corridors for birds.

The first nine holes of the course measure 3,155 metres for a par 36, with multiple tees making it even more enjoyable for everyone, from players still with high handicaps, to professionals.

There is also a large driving range with target green, and flanged by putting green, pitching-green and bunker shots.

The green and tee areas have been built according to U.S.G.A. methods, and grassed with gent grass.

After playing you can relax at Riviera Beauty, a peaceful area of sport and wellness. Indoor you can find: swimming-pool complete of wellness path, tidal swim, jacuzzi chaise-long, waterfall cave, sauna, Turkish bath and cardio fitness gym by technogym with possibility of personal trainer. The outdoor area is the summer answer for beauty and training with the 82 m. open air swimming pool in noto stone, trekking and bike circuit.
