Characteristics
Th Porto Snato Golf Course, initiated by Severiano Ballesteros, was planned as the longest golf course os the Madeira Archipels. 500 golfers are supposed to be able to play here at the same tiem! The 18-hole par 72 course opened in 2004, as well as the 9-hole par 3 pitch & Putt course. An expansion is planned for 2005.

fast ein Linkscourse December 29, 2009
der Platz ist sehr offen, fast wie ein Linkscourse konstruiert. Erhebliche Längen und oft sehr viel Wind machen das Spiel über die Hügel und teilweise sehr grossen Wasserhindernisse nicht einfach.
Der Platz ist sehr wenig frequentiert und bietet daher auch dem Anfänger die Möglichkeit in aller Ruhe einen anspruchsvollen Platz zu spielen.
Teilweise gibt es grossartige Ausblicke über die Küste der Insel.
