Because of it's location on the foothills 500 m above the bay of Funchal this golf course disposes of magnificent views on the capital, the sea and the surrounding mountains. The old woods with their partly rare and fine trees, as well as the lush vegetation are impessive. In correspondence with the terrain the species-rich and lush flora and fauna is a commemorable experience.

Super design and magnificent views

Once you get up the mountain tormented you reach a parking lot with a great view.
The course (Buggy Book!) Goes up and down. Hardly just Fairways therefore consider in advance exactly where the ball is going to pay. The course maintenance could be a bit better, although the Gruen were good. The view of some teas was impressive. After the round, a great meal in a crowded club restaurant. Always happy!

We played 4 times in late February in beautiful weather on this one-but also challenging, run by friendly people place.
The wide variety of delicious but also the manicured fairways, fast greens have from time to time "Scottish" character. But it's always fun at this tree-particularly trees and flowering shrubs wonderful place to play.
An additional highlight is the final visit of the Restäurants. The view from the terrace over the sea and Funchal, but also the excellent cuisine are well recommended.
We will definitely be back!
