Characteristics
The course is situated in a terminal moraine between the Teutoburg Forest and the Wiehen mountain ridge in a scenic rural area with a lively and diversified topography. Although the course featuring 37 bunkers is rather short, it still provides for a few real challenges: the natural hazards as well as the treetops of massive oak trees and beeches bending down onto the fairways make it hard to score. I have been there several times gedpielt, private and also tournaments. The place is very well maintained and located in a beautiful landscape. Recently, a par 72 course. Varied paths. Gastronomy well. Almost 5 Stars!

Super

A very nice, in about 55 years of its existence very well ingrown parkland course, difficult but not unfair, partly somewhat narrow fairways require precision. Loyalty, not too fast greens are well maintained as well as the entire system. The hole 9 is rebuilt at the time, nor is the old lines to play the new 9 is a blast.
Friendly reception, very good restaurant offering Italian cuisine at moderate prices and an excellent cappuccino.
Only criticism was clearly getting on in years ecart, there is need of renovation.
The place is rightly on the list of "Leading Golf Resort" even if "only" 18 hole available. In the near environment is still plenty of choice of alternatives available, if you want to stay in the region longer.
