Schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis March 12, 2011
Vor einigen Jahren haben wir den Platz bereits gespielt und waren davon recht angetan. Jetzt führt der Weg über weite Strecken quasi durch "Baustellen" und viele Fairways sind in einem schlechten Zustand. Wegen der Baumaßnahmen gibt es häufig lange Wege zwischen Green und nächstem Abschlag und die Beschilderung sowie die Beschreibung des Verlaufs der Fairways ist mangelhaft bzw. nicht vorhanden. Der Platz mag ja nach Fertigstellung wieder recht gut werden; inzwischen ist aber ein Greenfee von rund EUR 80,- nicht gerechtfertigt.
Top-Platz für die Zukunft January 16, 2011
der alte 18 Loch Platz Palmares wird in eine 27 Loch-Anlage umgebaut,
derzeit (Jahreswende 2010/11) 18 noch nicht zusammenhängende Löcher bespielbar,aber schon jetzt ein Erlebnis,man spielt zum Meer hinunter oder in Linksplatz Manier am Meer entlang.am Wochenende spielen,dann umgeht man den Baulärm.Das wird vielleicht der beste Platz an der Algarve.eine echte Alternative zu Vale do Lobo oder Vilamoura.
