Characteristics
Like with all truly great courses, every single hole is a memorable event on the Old Course of Vilamoura. In 1969 this course, which was designed by Frank Pennick, opened up and in 1996 after expensive restuarations it reopened. The natural contours of the landscape were nonetheless preserved and the vegetation, which mostly consists of stone pines, was integrated. Golfers will like to remeber this course.

Haben dort zum Jahreswechsel 2011/1012 gespielt.Sehr schöner Platz,bestens gepflegt,gut zu laufen,man fühlt sich irgend wie wohl.

dieser insgesamt nicht sehr schwierige Platz hat eine besondere Atmosphäre. Der Platz wird nicht durch Villen oder Strassen beeinträchtigt . Der Pflegezustand ist immer gut . Ich liebe diesen Platz, wenn ich morgens kurz nach Sonnenaufgang auf dem 1. Tee stehe.
