Characteristics
Like with all truly great courses, every single hole is a memorable event on the Old Course of Vilamoura. In 1969 this course, which was designed by Frank Pennick, opened up and in 1996 after expensive restuarations it reopened. The natural contours of the landscape were nonetheless preserved and the vegetation, which mostly consists of stone pines, was integrated. Golfers will like to remeber this course.

Spectacular old course. Great condition and fun to play.
6th hole, a 223 yard beauty.

Were there in February 2013. The square and the state were outstanding. The old trees, which is already on the 1 in impressive fashion to advantage, extends over the entire system. Fairways and greens were very good. Staff is very friendly. In addition to the Victoria course an absolute must!

Beautiful place! Necessarily play.
I played there in June 2012. Top condition.
What is terribly annoying but sometimes the cries of countless children who inhabit the pools of the adjacent villas.
Clubhouse bit old fashioned / slightly run down, but ok. Restaurant not grade the Burner but ok but with beautiful views. Service nice and very helpful, eg beverage ice box at cart.
