Awesome course

This review is part of my travel blog from our vacation. National was our first golf stop on our roadtip. When we arrived I was so gladly surprised. Nice clubhouse, very well situated on above the course. We were warmly welcomed despite that my Golfhaftet card did not work, but we were offered nice discount anyway. So big thanks to owner. I did not have any expectations honestly since it was my first experience with Lithuania golf. Since its owned by english man they have great greens they roll true and are fast enough. Quality of the course was big surprise, nice fairways quite wide, rough deep enough. Weakest points were for me teeboxes, bit roughed at some spots, caused probably by some tournament. Anyway, I like the back nine more than front. Signature holes for me would be 9,10,11,12,14,18 :D. Con fro someone could be the pactice area, driving range is quite far from clubhouse, however next to the 1st tee. After game refreshement was also good. Great food, great bar. Locker rooms are awesome. So I can only recommend.

Horrible bunkers & understaffed clubhouse

If you stay at this golf resort, better bring your own food and drinks. Because there will most likely be no breakfast and nothing to eat after 9 holes. Combine this with a very difficult course (water is everywhere the first 9 holes and then some).

However, staying can be great. It depends what room you get.

Also, do not forget your hack-and-slash clubs because the bunkers (all of them) are filled with big stones and they will cost you more than shots. While you're packing do not forget balls. One round can easily eat up 10 balls if you are having a bad day.

All in all, a course well suited for skilled golfers with personal staff to cook for them, -if they fix their bunkers.

A beautiful and challenging course

If you just get started here without having familiarized yourself with the conditions of the respective lanes beforehand, you will very easily lose a few balls. The almost entirely flat course has it all when it comes to its roughs, partly hidden water hazards and greens that slope down in all directions. Some roughs must first be played over a length of 120 meters or more in order to reach the semi-rough or the fairway. But it is undoubtedly worth playing this course. Very well maintained fairways and greens, which are in top condition, make the golfer's heart beat faster. The price is currently 60 EUR in the acceptable range. As on all Lithuanian courses, you almost always feel all alone on a beautiful golf course. In my opinion, the course is also suitable for beginners. However, you should be accompanied by a more experienced player if possible.
