Characteristics
Was designed by David Thomas in his first nine holes, par 37, 3275 meters, requires good shots to put the ball in the Fairways and the greens are well protected by bunkers and the surrounding lakes.
The back nine holes designed by Nicklaus Design is par 35, 2878 m, , have wide fairways and great holes, deserving a special mention to his own “amen Corner , a spectacular lake surrounding the holes 13, 14 and 15, making the water in the biggest obstacle to overcome.
The rest of the holes are protected by strategic bunkers.

Golf zwischen Ferienhäusern March 23, 2011
Gut und einfach zu spielender Platz in ordentlichem Zustand. Das dazu gehörende IC-Hotel Mar Menor ist ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen, sehr schöne Architektur und Ausstattung (Wellness-Bereich). Leider sieht man sehr wenig Landschaft, dafür aber das komplette Angebot an Ferienhäusern, "Villen" und Apartments.

Golfplatz Anfang Oktober 2010 4 x gespielt - im Rahmen eines Packetes über das Hotel IC Mar Menor gebucht. Platz liegt in einem Ressort und ist in gutem Zustand und lässt sich gut spielen. Der Platz ist vor nicht langer Zeit umgebaut und erweitert. Die Erweiterungen sind noch in sehr "rohem" Zustand. Jedoch kein Platz und kein Ort, wo man seinen Urlaub ein zweites Mal verbringen muss.
