Madinat Makadi Golf course is designed to accommodate the highest caliber international Championships. With over seventy-five hundred yards (7,500 yds.) 6880 meter from the Championship tees to the middle of the green the course challenges the best players in the world. The course has also six sets of tees to accommodate all levels of golfers from beginners to touring professionals.
Each hole at Madinat Makadi is strategically designed with risk/rewards shot-making opportunities through the course. The front nine is distinctly different than the back nine, being flatter with a series of ponds and creeks to challenge the golfer, whereas the back nine is routed through the hills and wadis in the desert. The challenge on back nine is due to the natural topography that was utilized in the design. The overall golf experience at Madinat Makadi is designed to challenge the best golfers while allowing the average players and beginners to enjoy their day on the course.

End of February 2013, we have gepsielt this place several times and he loved it.
When I read some very bad reviews on here, I wonder if we were in the same place. We were greeted very friendly at the pro shop and went to release the green fees to the Cart to the driving range. It is a fairly large practice area with many bunkers on the target range. Furthermore, a chipping and pitching area and a large putting green.
The course was in very good condition. That hanging a plastic bag in the bushes here and there is indeed so, but was on the other golf courses is no different and no space problem but rather a national problem. The place is rather long, especially for the men, and very varied. The erstesn 9 tracks rather flat and the second very hilly. At bunkers and waste areas was not saved and make the game challenging. In addition, it has very often struggling with the very strong wind. Water hazards, numerous bunkers, tees into the unknown or two time zones down :-) leaves the game never be boring. My personal favorite was the 11 hole (only once after the discount is not located in the lower bunker sigh).
Even the short course we played. For the irons and wedges train ideal and also has its pitfalls. The price for this is clearly too high.. unfortunately.
The Green Free prices are 85 euros certainly not very convenient, but it also would not call it overpriced. We have booked a package and then stood at a price of 65 euros per round. We have played this course 3 weeks ago and it was in good condition. What I like are the really varied tracks, each hole is a surprise. The condition was quite good, considering the few players who get lost on this sensational place.
