Los Mangos Golf Course
A unique nine hole golf course for the family with kids, singles. This golf course is located in Costambar which is a 10 minute drive from Puerto Plata. With elevated greens this course can be tricky for any golfer. Short par fours but the par threes can be a test for anyone. The golf host is Sr. Victor Garcia, English speaking and will give you a very good service.

Good Golf Option if on a Budget November 24, 2010
Was in the DR on a Volunteer Vacation working with International House of Hope, a 501-c3 providing medical services in the barrios of Puerta Plata. This course is a Muni type played by people who actually live there.
The track leads you through the community of homes and condos and you are greeted by residents walking or driving . Greens could be better but are close to the elevated tees course is very walkable.
Had fun very friendly staff. Paid about $30 rate was much cheaper than Playa Dorado in PP and Playa Grande in Cabarete which are over $100. Caddies don't speak much English and some do not know golf.
