Characteristics
This course is considered a masterpiece of the architect Sir Henry Cotton. Opened up in 1966 it is one of the most tradition-rich courses on the Algarve. Ten times already the Portuguese Open have taken place here. The golf and hotel resort offers two additional 9-hole-courses.

Wir waren im Nov. 2011 dort, tolles Hotel im englischen Stil, die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und weitläufig, KEINE PE auf Resort und Acadamy nötig!!! Großer Pool, Kinderanimation, mehrere Restaurants, Proshop, 3 gute Trainer mit Deutschkenntnissen, Tennisplätze, Joggingstrecke, Wellnessabteilung, privater Strandabschnitt - wirklich alles da. Die Plätze sind sehr gepflegt, breite Fairways, viele Bunker, ein wenig Wasser ist auch dabei. Nur zu empfehlen!!!
