Good design for a city golf course

The south course is optically beautiful and wavy, partly with water, greens often raised or wavy so actually kept exciting. Right next to the motorway and approaching Oberpfaffenhofen. A real city square.
The maintenance by the operator was very good. However, the players devastated the tees and the good greens are covered with pitch marks. Now I understand why similar 9 hole courses have tee mats. The dogleg, bunker, etc. distance display for teeing off on the board is missing. At first I thought it was very suitable for "long hitters". I didn't lose a ball. However, it is sometimes on the edge of the neighboring fairway. Because of the narrowness, there is little space between the actually sufficiently wide lanes. Even with short strokes, the pre- or post-flight often stands in the direction of the shot. A plateau green just hit, the ball hip over it and almost hit the man who was standing on the next lane. Sometimes it has nets. Incidentally, with 1h 17 min for 27 € it is over too quickly for 9 holes. It went quickly but played extra carefully.

I am still on the course a lot, only recently at a perfectly organized tournament with over 100 participants, everything worked out fine. Playing time just under 4 hours over 18 holes in one of the rear flights.
There are 2 female and 4 male marshals there, and they are all extremely friendly, they can be determined for certain things, but that is ultimately their job. And I've never seen a barracks tone, something must have gone wrong.
As far as the pace of play is concerned, the maximum is 2:15 hours for 9 holes, but that is beyond reality with this short course. If the fairways are free in front of you, times of 1:30, a maximum of 1:40 in a four-way flight are absolutely normal. Condition, of course - everyone in the flight has learned and understood what one has to contribute to a fast game.
As far as the booking system is concerned, each player reserves his or her personal start time online and can also book other players by name. And if only 2 or 3 players are registered in a flight, it is completely normal that additional players can also be added at short notice until the limit of 4 players is reached. It is therefore only logical that such a constellation can arise that a four-man flight is followed by a three-man flight and a two-man flight. If the worst comes to the worst, there is always the option of playing through. And whether the exact name fits now, as long as a name is not booked multiple times or is completely missing, is irrelevant for the whole thing. There are no half players or something.
This club actively wins a lot of new members every year, to an extent that sometimes it is already too crowded for me.
I therefore type in the last two reviews from 08/15. and 20.08., which obviously aim at the same issue, tremendously on the well-known forest formula paired with an extraordinary need to let off steam, especially since it is the very first rating by both users.
Even 2 years after my last rating, I still rate the course positively, the really big challenges are missing, but it definitely requires a straight long and a precise short game, you should also be able to deal with bunkers and inclines.
This facility is still not and never will be perfect, but it is good. 4 stars.

Last Sunday we were looking forward to our round of golf with friends from the Upper Palatinate. Two triple flights were booked, one flight 3 men and one flight 3 women. In the morning we played a 9-hole round on the south course with a member of the golf course who was booked for our flight. The morning round was a lot of fun for all of us and our friends from the Upper Palatinate congratulated us on the selection of the golf course, we now wanted to take out a membership as part of the special offer on the occasion of the golf range summer festival.
The marshal, a very nice man who supervised the morning, greeted us in a friendly manner, introduced us to our fourth teammate, who was booked into our flight, and pointed out to us that the names of the two flights were booked incorrectly. We can have that changed at noon after the round at the counter. No sooner said than done, after the wonderful morning round on Südplatz, I went to the counter and wanted to correct the names of the flights so that the names of the men are mentioned in the men's flight and the names of the women in the women's flight. The young man at the counter just said it was okay and we can play the afternoon round on the north square.
When we got to the tee 10 minutes before the tee, a member of the golf club assigned to our flight was at the tee. The round started nicely again until suddenly a female marshal came along and claimed we were playing too slow as a four-in-a-row flight. The flight behind us was a three-way flight and the one behind was a two-way flight. For various alleged mistakes, golf trolley allegedly placed incorrectly, etc., the lady attacked several times in a very harsh tone. When playing at hole 6, one of my friends had already stopped playing golf at this point due to the hostility of the supervisor, they were asked to clear hole number 6 immediately and go to hole 7, we finally stop all the traffic and furthermore, our names do not match those on their list. From that time we were still absolutely on target and on the remark that we can't help it if the names were booked incorrectly at the counter, only a harsh remark came up again.
That finally gave us the rest, we stopped our game. In the case of our women, she also messed up my friend with her barracks tone because she forgot one of her clubs on the pitch. Unfortunately, we have not received this racket to this day.
A complaint to the manager fizzled out that he only claimed he could not comment on it.
We cannot recommend this golf course under any circumstances and will avoid this facility in the future
