Fantastic experience and lovely greens

I have been playing regularly at Bockfliess for quite a while now and it never gets old. The best bang for your buck near Vienna. I highly recommend this challenging course to anyone interested in visiting Vienna and playing 18 holes.

Five stars for the concept

As mentioned above, I'm giving it five stars because I think it's great that there's still the opportunity to play golf for a reasonable price. In return, I can then do without certain cost drivers. There is no range here, no restaurant, you go there to play golf. There is a toilet and shower anyway, and these even come with towels, everything was fine for me. More such concepts, take away the elitist demeanor of sport and make it financially possible for more people!

But of course, all this only makes sense if the space fits. And he does. Very good condition, the greens acceptably fast for Central Europe. Bunkers that are quite a challenge, from time to time water or water stuck thicket and quite a lot of off. I found the place quite demanding. Fairways are often far away from yellow and you need very straight and long drives on some holes (of course, actually always anyway...). When it winds a lot, like me, it's not that easy and unfortunately two or three balls were gone.

I have to say I had two perfect days of golf at this facility.

Nice landscaped space with limited facilities

The course is beautifully laid out and really varied, some holes between the ponds, other holes are pleasantly shady in the forest. The "Amen Corner" is modeled on the hole in Augusta and offers a really interesting challenge.

No driving range available, next to the beautiful putting and chipping green are 2 tee boxes with nets to import.

No secretary no club restaurant, booking and payment only online. Drinks and snacks are conveniently available in vending machines.

New concept

The golf course is in the northeast of Vienna in March field and well fitted into the rather dreary surroundings, undulating fairways and heavily undulating greens but without Clubhouse and Range, for that there are online bookings, a vending machine and seating. With the discipline of the players, it does not look so good, the place is fully booked despite weekday, divots and pitch marks cover repair existent. For this purpose, the greens were heavily sanded.
The first 9 games is quite short, change is only on holes 7-9, passing through a small forest. The 2.9 are significantly longer, 2 long par 4 and a long par5, of white with headwinds challenging. All in all, a 3 green fees are a bargain and the equivalent one gets offered no more no less

Great Place, Price top, concept still getting used to

The place I really liked. The greens are beautifully modeled, water hazards and partly forest loosen the space. The Plegezustand is - just for a young place - excellent. The greens could be a little faster, the sand in the bunker is not quite my - little things. The place is certainly gain even more when the young plants are larger, but is already great.

The price was unbeatable: summer offer, € 24, - for a start time in the early afternoon.

The concept without Secretariat is getting used to a range already missing me personally, even if you look at the huge Puttung / chipping green on the round bit can join. But a range would not be comfortable with the price agreed. Perhaps you could after the chipping green still pitching green anlengen, then you could warm up better with reasonably full swings because these tee boxes are not for me. Pleasant to the concept is that you have already paid the green fees in advance, which saves a stop when arriving.

It is positive that there are towels in the showers. Also, the area to sit with the machine is designed very cozy and the prices at the machine fair.

The service staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Overall, a very successful investment, I geschankt between four and five stars, because of the price performance ratio but are five star worthy.

Beautiful place, unbeatable price-performance ratio

A really good place successful! I'm actually very flat terrain was very nicely modeled, especially around the greens, which are large and tricky. The many ponds and the 3 holes which will pass through the forest reaches a good change.
The Pfelgezustand is good, especially when you consider that the place was opened only in 2013.

And - the price-performance ratio, with 39 € on weekdays and 49 € on weekends is probably unbeatable; there is also a green fee Sunset 25/29 €:-)

Light and Shadow

We were very excited about the concept of a cash-and-play course.
What we liked: abwechlungsreich, but relatively short, undulating greens, but also sporty challenging. Fairways and greens present from average to good quality, pitching and putting green spacious, well-kept sanitary area.
What we liked less: sports-minded players miss a Range, the nearest golf course is a half hour drive away and there you have to shell out an extra range fee, which reverts to the green fee price in the right light. Restaurant Without the golf day is only half-baked, drinks from the vending machine or nothing for us to do is to look for a nearby inn. Some greens were covered with pitch marks.
In summary - not more but the price is equal to the performance. A concept for "Only player" who wants more is wrong here.

Golf course new generation

Golf Course:
A good successful golf course. Mostly open with plenty of water, three holes in the forest. The lack of length (especially on the par 4) is made by well-guarded greens offset and thus tactical game is required.

Location status:
In principle well. Because the course is only in the 2nd year, you will find of course still bald (usual for this area hard, dry) locations that need to grow first.
The greens seem a little dull, but all that need just a few more years.

Other:
Reduced to the essentials: there is no club house (for some food from vending machines and toilets), no driving range (for a generous Chipping-/Puttingarea). Reservations can be made over a very well-functioning online system and perhaps the lack of infrastructure is returned by cheaper green fee rates.

Conclusion:
The Golf Range group has conjured here a beautiful 18-hole course from the ground, which is certainly one of the most beautiful in the area.
