Relaxed golfing in a rural setting

I played the course in July 2023. The fairways were in good condition, the greens impeccable. Due to the sometimes small fairway width, the sometimes close and high rough, a straight game is rewarded.

Not really worth it

Played in July 2021, fairways ok, greens underground, partially defective, corrugated, controlled putts not possible, hit and miss, hitting the hole. The first nine holes are quite ok, the par 3 on hole 4 is rather ridiculous with 90 m length, from hole 10 completely monotonous like steppe, without any claim, no tree, no water hazard, just plain desolate.
As a green fee player you burn your money on this place, I think.
Won't play here anymore; Golf at the lowest level.

Expansion to 15 holes still needs to grow in

Last played on 9/28/20. After playing the 9-hole course at that time in 2009, I was curious to see how the course (now expanded to 15 holes / 3 more holes probably planned) would develop. The flat course with an additional 5-hole short course and driving range is not far from the A1 north of Dortmund, coming from the south behind the Kamener Kreuz, in absolute tranquility and nature, surrounded by fields and small forests. Until the expansion to 18 holes, you play lanes 1 to 3 again after 15 holes or end the round either after 9 or 15 holes. The new holes 10 to 13 are very little ingrown, but playable. Due to the renovation, two very short PAR 3 lanes under 100m have been created with holes 5 and 15. Overall, the 18-hole round is now played with PAR 68 (men 5,100m), with 6 x PAR 3 then being played. The old holes in particular offer a few water hazards (lanes 2 and 3 are possibly the highlights), otherwise the layout is rather unspectacular and higher HC should be able to cope well. Lane 5 (PAR 3) looks a bit squashed because there was probably another lane to go. Lane 13 is a 90 degree dogleg to the right and since there are no visual tee boards and the lanes have not yet been measured in the GPS, I didn't really know where to go after the tee due to a small slope and promptly played the wrong flag. Also not quite optimally solved is that after Green 13 you have to go a little further along the track 14 back to the men's tee. The state of care was acceptable. The greens were fine, if a little too slow in my view. The game on a rather cloudy Monday morning was manageable. Start times are assigned online, where guests can also register. The members I met greeted friendly. As a single player, I was either taken away or let through. The green fee is staggered depending on the number of lanes you want to play. For 15 holes you pay an absolutely reasonable 30 € on weekdays. With the Albrecht golf book you also get discounts. A surcharge for golfers without a hologram is not known here in a way that promotes golf and is grateful. In general, the atmosphere is rather relaxed and casual. When the secretariat is closed, you pay the green fee in, I call it the “lounge”, in the rudimentary clubhouse. You can take drinks out of the fridge yourself and pay the amount in a cash box. A real gastronomy is not offered. Toilets are available, I haven't seen a changing room. All of this is probably housed in a former farm with an adjoining deer enclosure. Since the secretariat is generally closed on Mondays, a nice lady on site helped me. Otherwise, as a guest, you may have to manage completely on your own. Score cards with a map on the back are currently only available as printed notes. All in all, certainly not a full-fledged golf course, but definitely an alternative for an almost full practice round at a low price.
