In the tri-city area Münster-Bielefeld-Osnabrück the "Golfpark Heidewald" now offers all golfers the chance for an uncomplicated game of golf. The first public course of the region was inaugurated in May 1997. The fairways demand a precise game and have lengths between 130 and 260 m. The par 3 holes are modelled on famous holes of Scottish golf course and impress with their arrangement of so-called "pot bunkers."

The greens were well maintained - as were the bunkers - the tees were locked. The fairways brown and dry just very hard. But there is really nothing to complain about, because it is midsummer without rain...
