Characteristics
An 18-hole Championship Golf course stretches along the length of the resort shaping the housing centres, the Hotel & SPA and the other leisure facilities. The proximity of the sea and Óbidos lagoon, not to mention the golf course itself, afford each allotment and the housing lots fantastic views which benefit from the extension and the natural beauty of the surroundings.The golf course, designed by the world-renowned architect Donald Steel is already openned.
It was constructed by Nigel Ely, currently the Chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Constructors, a fact which offers guarantees of flawless quality at an international level, in line with the rest of the resort.

The course certainly doesn't have the same aura as the other courses in the area and is clearly in need of some investment. However, it's impeccably maintained, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and easy to deal with. Especially for mid- to high-handicap players, it's a relaxed and pressure-free environment, even though some holes are quite challenging and varied. The wide fairways encourage you to really let loose, and it was here that I hit my longest drive. While the scenery isn't quite as breathtaking as some of the other courses, it offers a stunning view of the Óbidos Lagoon on a clear day. Overall, it's better than many of the reviews here suggest!

Anyone who knows and loves the places in Schleswig Holstein has come to the right place. The fairways offer the same pitfalls due to the sand/earth subsoil and the brittle grass.
Our reception was very friendly with a detailed briefing. The course is very well maintained, the greens are incredibly fast and the view from tee 17 is terrific. The bunkers and the difference in height turn seemingly easy fairways into real challenges.
