Tight, hilly course, confusing layout at times

On a hot day, i recommend using a trolley as by the end of the round i was very tired carrying my bag, may have affected my enjoyment also.

Some very interesting holes, often the driver as a 1st shot was not the correct club to play. That said, the map on the scorecard and pictures on each hole were not clear, so for a first timer going around here, make sure to 'feel' your way carefully. Better signs around the course i think are needed.

Once you have the course knowledge here though i would imagine that there are not too many difficult tests other than the length and gradient.

The setting is pretty nice, some v good views of surrounding Taunus, i would recommend giving it a go. The staff i met were excellent and very welcoming.
55Eur during the week though is quite pricey, but that's golf in germany i suppose!

Rolling Hills

Rolling Hills and beautiful views. A somehow demanding course with a lot of elevation changes and some tilted fairways. We played in the morning and had a great round of golf there. If you are not fit enough you should go with a cart, physically it felt like playing much more than 18 holes. The course itself was in very good condition. There are not many bunkers and it plays very open. On hole 8 don´t try to attack the dogleg if you are not a long hitter, it did cost us three balls… we could´t resist.
In the end, it was a very enjoyable round of golf and a great value for money. We will come back for sure!

Friendly little club with potential

A demanding place that requires concentration and precision.

The new board brings new wind to the system after many years of perceived downtime.

The quality increases significantly. The place was made better playable.

Keep it up!!!

Sporty and sympathetic

The place is sophisticated, the atmosphere relaxed, the staff helpful. One of the few uncrowded plazas in the Rhine-Main area.

Real challenge, but...

The place is beautifully situated and is very challenging with its steady up and down.
The greens have it in themselves and the fairways should be better maintained.
All in all, the course has everything that makes golfing.

Unfortunately, I had to realize, however, that the discipline of the players on the site is not at all.
On a par 3 a man has beaten off, even though the flight before him was still on the green.

For me, it has happened that a cart has driven on our track even though the flightpartner just wanted to carry out the tee-off.

Even the rules are not known to the two gentlemen in the cart, because without asking big your ball was the first. The prerogative lies however with the flight of the that plays in the moment course.

The highlight, however, was that in the middle of my tee off the train 18 came a car on a supply route and I almost shot him.
So the whole golfing fun is hardly fun, if it is so chaotic.

Marshalls I have not seen one on the entire round.
When it is managed to eliminate these grievances, the place is a dream and belongs to my favorites.

Nice atmosphere, sporty place

Have in the spring / summer several times tournaments or private rounds as a greenfeespieler graduated, and only experienced nice workers and flight partners. All are very proud of their club, but without arrogance. The place is very tiring, because hilly and partial with a spectacular view over the Taunus. The condition of the fairways and greens is very well maintained. The new gastro needs to find something more routine.

A "naja experience" ...

... this place - hilly but not particularly spectacular - is quite dry in the summer. The other places in the region offer much more.

Particularly to be highlighted is the unfriendly club manager - does not react to calls or emails, not even on my request for the conditions for paying members... not a good style for a golf offer, that itself as "TOP" feels.

My most beautiful golfing experience ever

To the heading, I must say that I have been playing golf for about three-and-a-half years and that was only the tenth place I played. However, I am firmly convinced that others can share my assessment.

I played the course on a Monday for € 35, - which is a great price performance ratio in the Rhine-Main area. Since the office is only open until 5 pm you can put the green fee at the first hole and has to reserve from 3 pm no more start time.

Before the round I wanted to take a little bit on the driving ranch. As I learned on the way there from a member, you can only draw the balls there by card. The kind gentleman immediately offered me to pull balls for me without asking for a dime. As it turned out later, it was one of the top players of the first team, in this way again a heartfelt thanks.

At the tee another member asked me if we would not go together. This was another very positive experience for me, because it was a player of the seniors team, who gave me great tips for playing the tracks and, in addition, was a personally very pleasant flight partner.

The place presented itself in a super condition, all fairways were full green and the greens were absolutely perfect, for Spitzenspieler perhaps not fast enough, for me ideal. The railways are broadly laid out and have a great landscape. The surroundings and the views in the Taunus are likewise wonderful. Because of the location, it was also quite a sporting matter, as you already make the one or the other altitude meter and if you wear the bag as I already noticed what one has done.

I will be back.

Cute and playful interesting

A place with little bunkers and waters, for challenges by slopes in all directions. Did I really liked, despite the hot sun still relaxed by constant wind. Nice staff, nice flight partners.

The next time with Cart

Compared to my last visit three years ago again become better (also thinned slightly on bushes, in my opinion).

Some fairways (11/18) still somewhat dried up, but it no longer versprngt so much to nirvana as it was then. The greens in great condition and fast.

Due to the height differences a number of challenges, both to the game as well as fitness. As compensation, but also some wonderful views.

It, on Halfwayhaus not only to have toilets, but also at least one vending machine, right now in the summer would be nice.

Short game practice area with provided balls, large putting green, on the range but I would criticize the hard and slightly worn mats.

By this anniversary green fee of 35 EUR an unconditional Preis-/Leistungsempfehlung.
If I can do it, I come again this year again, but then with Cart ;-)

Golf; "Inexpensive"

Can be so beautiful golf course. At the last visit in Aug. 2012, although the greens were fine, but the fairways were then quite dry. Yes, absolutely parched. This meant that although the fairway was played beautifully centered, the balls came because of the steep slopes often are in the semi-rough. Now everything is lush green, very well maintained and excellent playability. This time I did my golf ball from the 1 th to 18 th tee true green. (Did I here never get.) However, the icing on the cake are the only 35 € the green fee is demanded here. Definitely the best price / performance ratio in the whole Rhein / Main.
5 points? I'll give you!

Challenge

This place is quite a challenge to the fitness of the golfer dar. Esgeht always present with panoramic view over the Taunus countryside uphill and down. Case missing something fitness, the use of a Elektrocarts recommends. You will be rewarded each case with a magnificent panoramic view of the Taunus and always interesting partly challenging fairways. The greens were always in top clean condition. We played here in May, June and August (2013). The fairways were excellent in May and in June, the continuing drought had added in August 2013 the fairways something. It is then advisable einzukalkulieren the longer taxiways of the golf ball.
The staff at the Club office is very courteous and helpful. This also applies to the catering trade. This by the way has the most beautiful terrace in the Taunus.
The green fees are quite reasonable in our opinion and provide our opinion for an excellent price-performance ratio in the GC Taunus Weilrod. This year (2014) we will be playing here again. The GC Taunus Weilrod is more than worth a visit.

Pure relaxation

The most beautiful place in the Rhine Main area. The site offers sports as well as recreational golfers plenty of challenges. Well maintained community, super greens, a nice alternative on the weekend - also very inexpensive and the most beautiful terrace Taunus. Love to come back

In the early morning dew on end...

That was once the alternative for a begütertes audience that no recording took place in Frankfurt due to lack of capacity. Now established, but also lost if the connection to the heavy competition. Up and down it goes, often viewable without line. Verspringen no idea where balls. Good shots are penalized by the slopes. No, it remains an ambiguous impression. In this area there are far better places!

Challenging, but comfortable

A challenging course, often heavily influence the game by using the forward and uphill / downhill situations. The Exile is sometimes a little confusing, but the signs usually good.

With the current drought of the fairways, unfortunately, a mid-fairway actually also played ball downhill verspringen times so that one no longer finds him to the top.
The greens are in spite of the drought, however in a very good condition.
