Characteristics
"In a scenic region in the middle of the Dachstein-Tauern-Region the course situated in an altitude of 750 m. Designed by Bernhard Langer, the course in sunny location offers sportively demanding fairways. The water landscapes award thereby a particularly nice optic, sometimes you can feel a hint of Florida. A highlight is e. g. the ""Crocodile Hole"", a challenge for every golfer."

Great golf course; disappointing Manager
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 9, 2022
What a lovely golf course, which we have experienced on various regular visits to Austria.
There appears to have been a change of management since our last visit, where, as regulars, we always received a regular player discount for golf.
However, on enquiring this time recently, we got a sarcastic response from the manager to the effect ‚ did we want him to lose money‘? No need for such a reply.
This got us off to what then became a contentious conversation and albeit against my better judgment, we returned to play the next day, we got a similar welcome when responding to a misunderstanding. However, Franz did belatedly apologise to my husband after the event. What a shame it happened which was unnecessary.
In my professional experience, even when disagreeing with customers, one always had to be mindful that they were paying for the service and should be dealt with politely! We had spent a few hundred euros over 2 days there.
We now feel we’d be slow to recommend it to others as we have always done previously.
Perhaps it was a cultural difference but Franz‘s youthful Aggression, which might have been important for his previous career, was not the diplomacy necessary for any service to the public and especially golf; sadly not our experience.
Nice course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 3, 2019
We played this course together with friends on our annual trip to Adamstal. We wanted to see a kther course managed by Wittmann family. When you enter you are right at big parking lot. Course is tighten to small place. Everything is close here. From parking to driving range. Very pleasant people in reception, with great time organization. Course offers good driving range and practice area. To first tee you walk directly from reception about 20 meters. Course is very well maintained, everything is perfectly marked, they also had posibility to buy birdie card. Fairways were nice and juicy as well as greens. Speed and quality of the greens is awesome. From length perspective course is not long and you can score pretty good there. Fairways a, re in majority guarded with trees on both sides. It is more or less parkland golf course to me and its quite flat. Suggest to walk it all the time. The value what you get for your money is perfect especially if you can use your teetime as 50% voucher for Adamstal. Only one small cloud on clear sky is that the main roud is next to course and some holes are bit noisy. Would definetely play again there.

An interesting place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 12, 2024
The club is characterized by a friendly atmosphere. The halfway house is one of the most laid-back I have ever seen.
The course is interesting and varied. The condition of the course is good, considering the time of year. It was clear that the fairways and greens would look great in summer and autumn.
All in all: a beautiful golf course!
