The course, which has wide fairways, is relatively easy to play (5,941 m long from yellow). Idyllic fairways meander through the very quiet Bavarian area.
The greens were extremely slow and bumpy, but this was due to the aeration around 2 weeks ago.
Tee boxes were also aerated, fairways okay with slight bare spots, bunkers with enough sand and play well.
Greens only slightly undulating, with the exception of the stepped green on hole 5, a very nice par 3.
Otherwise the condition of maintenance is impeccable. The fact that the club is well managed is also reflected in the tidy condition of the club building and the investments made on the pitch.

Quiet but close to town gem. At the end of September 2023 we found a very well-maintained facility. From the secretariat to greenkeeping to the catering industry, extremely friendly encounters.
Place has already been described extensively. Very hilly - we would definitely recommend a cart. From yellow just under 6,000 meters. However, the game takes longer due to the height differences. Greens look great, but were slower than average during our visit.
4.5 stars for the likeable system. We'd love to come back.

..you essentially need two things in Pleiskirchen: a buggy and a handicap of at least 18. You should be able to play a bit of the route safely in order to experience the full charm of the mostly adventurous fairways. It hadn't rained for a long time on our warm July day - the fairways have obviously suffered, but the tee boxes and greens were perfect.
As far as the much-vaunted view is concerned, I can only say... Lower Bavaria is neither Tuscany nor the Tramuntana, so my enthusiasm in this regard was limited.
The friendly welcome and some really challenging holes still result in 4 stars.
