Our 1995 golf course is equipped with an excellent 18 hole championship course, a spacious practice area, a PGA golf school and a welcoming clubhouse with a large sun terrace.
The absolutely flat courses, nestled between flowering meadows and the naturally grown forest, makes the game of golf a real pleasure.
The idyllic water hazards and the view of the surrounding mountains inspire every golfer and give the facility a special spirit. Our secretariat with Pro Shop, as well as the Cafè & Restaurant "EssPar" with its culinary offer is available daily. Only a short distance from the motorway exit Knittelfeld-West and -Ost, the traffic connection is ideal. We are looking forward to your visit!

Beautiful idyllic course

I went for a walk alone in the early morning. I was let through by three flights of four (all members) without asking and was able to continue playing quickly.
The course is in an idyllic location and small streams occasionally cross the fairways. This not only makes the place a little tricky at times but also very nice to look at.
The secretariat was very nice and courteous, the catering was good and inexpensive.
The sound system from the redbull ring and the flying squadron is something you have to take into account.

The flat course, embedded in beautiful surroundings, impresses with many interesting golf holes that are quite challenging. Many streams cross the fairways, strategically placed ponds, flower meadows and a number of out borders make the course difficult. Tactical play and knowledge of the course are required.
An enormous number of bare spots, especially on the fairways, partly also on the greens and an enormous amount of water on the course did not make the game particularly enjoyable. A number of areas on the fairways and in front of the greens could not be entered due to temporary water. This is probably also due to the relatively high groundwater level and the many streams.
The greens extremely slow and very bumpy, very soft - you could see every footprint. Bunker to play well, no complaints!

They are right about the dry patches and also about the greens being too soft, but the days and weeks leading up to their game were marked by extreme drought and, at the end, massive rainfall. We were very lucky that we were spared storm damage this time. We can assure you that our staff strives every day and does everything possible to pamper our guests and members and keep them happy. However, we don't always succeed, because nature has unfortunately become very capricious and unpredictable in recent times. Furthermore, golf course operators are also struggling with staff shortages, sick leave and the extreme increase in costs. All together a difficult task, but masterable! Especially when guests and members continue to rate golf courses positively and thus positively influence the opinion of others. Appropriate care measures, investments and customer service can only be maintained if the flow of income is not interrupted.
