Booked a TeeTime for Thursday, June 29,2023,11:00 a.m. via PCCaddy. When my wife called the secretariat if you had to bring towels for the shower as a green fee player/guest player, she was told that the showers were only for members and that we guests could not shower.
We then canceled our TeeTime because we felt this was a no-go. Especially in summer temperatures, showering after 4-5 hours of sport is simply part of it, no matter how special the facility can be!

While I found the lanes within the racetrack nice to play, it all feels very cramped. If you want to declare these tracks as minimally demanding, the tracks in the "orchard" are then completely superfluous. These have the character of a short course for practicing wedges. The way to get there is almost unmarked. In general, I found the signage to be inadequate.
The value for money is absolutely not right here. Even the reduced green fees after work are too expensive for this place. There are dozens of more serious courses in the area for the same money.
If 18 holes are then too long (which is the big selling point of this club here) then just play 9 holes. Bottom line, still the better choice.
You can familiarize yourself with the range beforehand. The Toptracer technology works well, but the individual bays have the same problem as the lanes themselves. Everything is very tight and you constantly felt like you were either hitting your equipment or killing other players. How you can book the Bays with up to four people is a mystery to me.
Guests without a card (?) can draw 12 balls for €2. I found that rude.
The putting greens are good.

As a solo player 18 holes in about two and a quarter hours - that was a beautiful Whit Monday evening. The course was well maintained, the greens fast and wavy, yet soft. I really like the bunkers with deep, soft sand. The character of the course is varied, water comes into play regularly and no two tracks are alike. Depending on the wind direction and the traffic situation, you realize that you are playing in the middle of the Ruhr area, but sometimes the course is so beautifully laid out that you can forget it. Secretariat and registration are uncomplicated. All in all, everything is great for a quick lap and I'd love to come back.

Short courses or shorter golf courses are particularly attractive for me, because I can work on the right precision. On this golf course with some shorter lanes I felt comfortable and also enjoyed the special atmosphere very much.
