Place with spark

My last course on my trip to Austria. many years I was passing bye with thought to play this time I took the opportunity. Once again its very easy to find there are good signs to navigate to course and if you use navigation you will find it.
Clubhouse sits on side of the hill nest to main road. Parking lot is not a big but also not crowded. From terrace you have nice view on village and course. The building is some how modern and interesting I like it very much. It feels there very friendly. I did also booking through ÖGV. I arrived a bit early so I was lucky there was lady at reception, so my checking went smooth and I was ready to play. I hit few putts on putting green with morning moist, and only looked at driving range, next to it.
To reach 1st tee you need to cross main road so be careful. Elevation tee on 1st hole pretty much sets up the standard of the day. It will be up and down :D. I like the 1st hole, good opening one which gives you chance to score but also punish. The second one was much better, huge tee shot over the trees on wide fairway, do not be afraid to hit driver. Than it slows a bit looked like flat golf course but its not. I do not know but I'm asking myself why the courses in Austria are so long, everybody hits over 250 their drives? Anyway I liked front nine, course offer variety of shots and reward the risk. Back nine starts at the old clubhouse, cause course was originally only 9 holes and let you climb up to hill. My personal preferences are in favor of front nine. If I have to pick some hole which was most interesting for me I would choose probably hole 6th and 14th. Anyway I was lucky to be paired with local guy who was very supportive and gave many interesting info and great advices and I felt like at home course. So thanks for hospitality and I will for sure come back again

Nothing for wimps

My wife and I played the course 2 times in a row. The first day it was very windy and difficult without any knowledge of the place. Exact play is advisable from lane 6. Should have taken my advice.
Thought I'd do everything better on the 2nd day. It went well at first, then the space ate me again.
But please don't misunderstand. The place is in very good condition, has varied tracks, is located in a fantastic environment, is exactly mine, but ... ..
I can't do it any better Conclusion: you should play if you're in the area, because it's definitely worth it.

4 stars if it was dry...

... but unfortunately like 2014 it was just a bit of a "water fight".
The many rainfalls in the last few days have made the space quite difficult - unfortunately.
Place condition so-so, greens slowly, dull and differently fast. Fairways were often under water, making the course extremely difficult to play and the course is not easy anyway. Many slopes, streams and ponds as well as various obstacles make the course interesting but difficult.
We hope for dry weather next time!!
Secretariat and gastro friendly, food good, everything okay!

Torn - good or excellent

A beautiful place in a great landscape!
The condition was - despite the hot weather - very good.

Getting used to are a few points that you should probably know in advance:
- The range "hangs" very strong, when importing no topic, during training, it must be considered.
- The paths between the tracks are sometimes very long.
- Front9 and Back9 can not be split because 9 holes play lanes 1-5 and 15-18. A break is therefore difficult if you do not prepare yourself beforehand.

All in all, but still a nice and mostly fair place.

An extra star should be there for the manager! Always very friendly and accommodating. That's really fun.

We can only recommend the place.

Thank you for your kind words and your good rating. Normally, if you want to play 9 holes, you play holes 1-9 and not 1-5 and 15-18. Only one more question, I should know their name and the day, when they were our guest. Thanks again, and hopefully see you soon. With sporting regards Hannes Pachler

Sophisticated

Nestled in a beautiful rural area is this interesting place. There are no highlights such as islands, gorges or ruins in the middle of the tracks, however, each hole shows its own particularity, which makes the game technically very demanding. Here there is the longest hole with 612m, slopes, narrow access to the greens. If you go out better than your HCP, you played with your brain and good technical quality.

A place you have to play at least twice

The 18-hole course is very nicely embedded in the surroundings of the Mühlviertel. Many ups and downs, heavily ondoulierte greens and also a few footpaths to the next tee-off (which however owed to the neighboring agricultural land owners). In any case you have to play the place twice, then you know the course much better. A small but fine Proshop, a golf school with laughing pupils, a nice office as well as a fine gastronomy complete the good overall impression. Dogs are also allowed!

Very nice facility!

We played the course in early May. Just from the last hoarfrost liberated the plant was already in a very good condition. Layout very nice. Friendliness of the staff at the counter and the restaurant were simply top. We will be back.

Too wet

Unfortunately the place was "under water" therefore only 3 stars. An evaluation is perhaps this time not very fair, because the many rains have very affected the fairways. The greens although perfectly but a little slow. Square layout getting used to, but with 4-5 but very nice fairways Club house modern with good hospitality.

Very varied

Great place in a beautiful setting.
Excellent care condition.
A place for hitters as wide fairways and plenty of space!
Every hole is different and beautiful in itself.
Absoutes a "must play"

A tip: Play u place in the spring summer, autumn, the fallen leaves of many trees a little disturbing.
