The course between or partly in the Käfertal forest and the motorway is a good course, a mixture of traditional or excellent holes and good average.
The club offers good infrastructure for training and club life - between tradition and modernity. The clubhouse and changing rooms are large and well-designed, but the area is relatively spacious.
Due to the rather flat and sandy terrain, the course can be played all year round and in difficult weather conditions and is easily accessible by car. The greens and fairways are generally outstanding - like the club teams of recent years.

Apart from the greens (which are really unique in Germany) and most of the tee boxes, the course is in a desolate state at the end of June. Hardly any grass is played on the "fairways" anymore, most of the sprinklers have been dug up and the corresponding excavation, which has now been overgrown by weeds, has been on the fairways and next to the holes for several weeks. The bunkers are unkempt and partly overgrown with weeds.
Under these circumstances, the green fee prices are not even remotely justified and the course in no way lives up to the claim to being a leader.
