NOT WORTH IT

Leitzenhof is TOO expensive and I wouldn't recommend paying the current greenfee.
This course has a decent 2nd 9 holes but a poor and uninteresting first 9.
We used to play here when the green fee was €35 but it has now risen by nearly 60% and is now FAR too expensive for what it is.
The clubhouse is also fairly poor.
The nearby Bitburger Land, one of the TOP 10 German courses is FAR FAR better and using their return card is even 10€ CHEAPER that Leitzenhof.
I would recommend MISSING this course at it's current greenfee.

We have announced heat escape from southern Germany to the Eifel at short notice. Thanks to Albrecht Golfguide, we were warmly welcomed here with the mobile home and experienced 2 great days of golf. Excellent course, very well maintained. A fantastic landscape and a very warm service team. Thanks. We will be back. Crispy venison sausages, homemade cakes, ice-cold wine rounded off our short vacation.

I was unlucky with the green condition, which was being rebuilt after punching and sanding. However, they are usually only an alternative solution for members, for example at tournaments, when there is a high demand. The club has state-of-the-art e-carts with GPS options for all guests. After the corona-related break, we played this course on the weekend. The fairways, tees and greens were absolutely great. The first 9 are wonderfully located and still quite flat before the backnine turns into an ascent and descent. The holes here are varied and impress with difficult locations. High handicapers are better off on the first nine. Overall, it's a wonderful place with two completely different halves. We will be back definitely.
