Lanes 1 - 9 are quite a hilly/wavy LINKS course that is beautifully embedded in the landscape. tight, challenging and a pleasure to play. great left-grass fields in and next to the fairways, good bunker sand and fantastically good and tricky undulating greens. the 7th hole, a couple of 3, HC1,202m is a real hit. For me, these 9 holes are among the most beautiful links courses I've ever played.

With this super-golf feeling you tackle the second 9 holes. but then the quality crash comes like a hammer – as if you are going from the champions league to the lowlands of the 3rd league. I actually thought about packing my things and stopping the exercise at the 12th hole.
It remains hilly, but the left is over. it changes from demanding narrow to a wide, modestly maintained playground. now the greens have a different grass and they are mostly flat, totally banal and boring.
