I agree 100% with the assessment of "kalle". Place okay but nothing special, from the 10 quite hilly but manageable on foot, course maintenance well, especially when I see the bald spots on track 8 and sometimes on other tracks.
Greens very slowly but well undulated.
I really liked the layout of holes 1 and 17, the surrounding landscape and the tranquility of the place were very nice.

Goldegg is kind of a strange place.
You go completely along the third fairway to get to the 1. Hole 1 downhill, hole 2 uphill, hole 3 par 3.
Hole 4 tee off next to the clubhouse, okay until then, but nothing spectacular. So it goes on and on, always tricky but ok!
Hole 8 is a very strange par 5 that is played through the rows of trees and a narrow point with the 2nd shot, slightly confusing. At the 9 you need a clean fade from the tee (generally right-handed people ask for this more often, but it's fun) and a pitch into the green. The next hole could have been built as a par 3 around the hill, but you didn't have it and so, uh, you climb like a chamois, really very extreme the little tea road up to tee 10! The place was pretty full, we were the only ones on foot, until 10 you ask yourself why do they all have a car? It's clear on tee 10! Lane 11 clean ascent to the green. 12 ok, the 13 is probably the most beautiful hole along the mountain range. Take a breath for the march to tee 14. The 14,15,16 are also nice holes. The 17 is actually not a golf hole! Par 5 that plays for a long time and from a 2 stroke becomes tight on a high green over a depression! Had a great drive that lasted as long as it hit the trench...!

This course is a challenge - especially because of its incredible location in the middle of the mountains. It is not a flat parking lot and therefore offers varied and challenging games. Condition and concentration just have to be right, otherwise you can still enjoy the unique environment. A shuttle service for the longest climb is great fun.
The same applies to this course - as to many others: the second round is played much better. A place that is really worth it. We always like to come back here.

It is a place with mostly shorter holes. The driver deserves a break. They are well placed in the landscape. One tried to build a good place with lowest possible costs. There is nothing artificial, the fairways were modeled by the terrain, the greens has mostly adapted to the same, or sometimes set its own accents.
The whole place is well maintained, the greens even very good. We are surprised in this regard - they are the second best we played in this stay in Pinzgau - like last time.
There are three special holes, the 8,11 and 17.
