Characteristics
The opening of Baden-Wuerttemberg's first independent public golf course took place in August 1998. From the signposting Staufenberg of the B 10 near Göppingen the Golfpark is only a 5 minutes' drive away; It offers good travel connections and a nice location in the landscape of Staufer. The beautiful old stock of trees and the panoramic view on the edges of the Alb and the Staufer Mountains characterise the scenic overall impression of the course.

At that time, from the history (former place of the Americans on their airfield), the place was simply created between the runways and not very exciting, but close to the city and easy to reach.
