We came from Berlin and would have certainly saved ourselves the 340 km if we had known that beforehand.

The resort at Fleesensee is located in the middle of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the region around the Müritz and three other larger lakes. The signs to the golf club/golfodrome are good from the motorway. The facility in the town of Göhren-Lebbin includes three 18-hole and two 9-hole courses, each with PAR 30 and PAR 27 with different levels of difficulty. From beginners to places for low handicappers, everything is there. Of course there is a huge driving range that can be played from several sides and some practice areas. Except for the castle course (here you pay at the golf reception in the castle hotel or online when booking the start time) you pay your green fee at the golf club at the Golfodrom. The start times for the three 18-hole courses can be booked online via the homepage. Here you can also book green fee packages for unlimited golf on several days. But it's only worth it if you actually play at least two rounds of golf in one day. The staff at the golf reception/pro shop were busy and friendly. There is also a restaurant on site in the club with a good average menu. Prices, service and quality of the food were fine. Engels & Völkers (E&V) course played on September 30,2023. By the way, the place is called that because it is sponsored by the corresponding real estate company. You can see this at the starter house, at the driving range and also at the visual tee boards, of which there is only one at each tee and often on the white tee. So you have to go back to the white tee more often if you want to find out more about the course. By the way, the path from the clubhouse to the 1st and 10th tees to the starter house feels like a kilometer away. You should definitely take this into account when sticking to your start time. There are toilets at the starter house/green 9, as well as one on the lap where you pass once on the front nine and the back nine. The PAR 72 course is pleasant, has mostly open tees (except on the first hole) and some water hazards that definitely come into play. What is particularly noticeable are the many bunkers, which defend the greens very well. However, you won't find any special highlights. The condition of the fairways and greens was extremely good. Most of the tees were fine too. Unfortunately, the bunkers had not been prepared after rain during the night and were therefore hard in some places. There was no sign of greenkeepers. The games on a Saturday morning were lively from 10:00 a.m. onwards, but not overcrowded. In my opinion, the green fee for non-hotel guests of currently €80 is €10 too high and should only be taken if everything is perfect. I would give 4 stars in the rating. B2B course played on October 1st, 2023. The course is called that because there is a company advertising board on every tee and/or green, which probably generates additional income for the resort. But the billboards don't bother you. The PAR 67 course (1x PAR5.6X PAR3) is certainly, due to its shortness, more suitable for high HC or for the warm-up round before playing the other courses. The long drought and then many rainy days afterwards probably don't make course maintenance easy. We golfers have to get used to that.
The greens were good. The fact that I used too many putts is not due to a lack of maintenance :). The droppings from the wild animals on some greens were striking. The animals probably don't stick to the start times :).
I give tees and fairways four stars. With some greens, the semi-rough is a bit unusually irregular (partially grassless areas and/or poorly mowed).
The sand in the bunkers was easy to play with. The fact that players who played before us don't rake the bunkers - and then playing out of the bunkers becomes more difficult - is not the fault of the designer or the greenkeeper.
