Characteristics
The Golf Club Ausseerland has most likely the most beautifully located and excellently located course in Austria. The courses fit ideally into the natural landscaoe- a high plateau in the middle of the grogeous mountainous world of the Salzkammergut. The courses alternate from straight fairways to doglegs, partly hilly, partly even. The 9th hole rewards the golfer with an unique view on the Dachstein Glacier.

I played this course back in 2002. The views were so beautiful that I forgot how I played. The second hole had a magnificent view of the Dacstein Glacier. There is an interesting walk from the 4th hole to the 5th but what a surprise at the end of the path. Try it, you only live once.

Place: not long but sometimes a little cramped and quite a Herausforderugn as a 9 hole course.
But the real sensation is the view - a sensation around the Dachstein on hole 9/18 as icing on the cake.
