Finally we have managed to pay a visit to the course on the way south. We did not regret it. As described in previous reviews, the tracks meander through the hilly Holledau.
No boring back and forth. We played the tracks 19 - 27 and 1 - 9. For pediatric patients and similar clients a cart is recommended. For me as a ski tourer it was an ideal summer training with the carrying bag. The fairways are very wide and presented in our visit despite dryness in the best condition. Many greens had brown spots, but where the greenkeepers worked at full speed, so this is only a matter of time to the lush green. Some tracks are difficult to estimate because of the hilly course including doglegs. Did you miss - what the hell? Does not detract from the love for this place. Generous training facilities including a short course complete the positive appearance of the club. Hardly any reason why start times are waived. Secretariat very friendly, you feel welcome as a guest. Pro shop well sorted, but very Spartan opening times. Gastronomy Italian. We have excellent food. Parking lot generous, therefore suitable for campers as a place to stay. Member of Leisure Breaks for a low green fee.

We played the "Pumpernudl" course on a wonderful sunny early afternoon in the afternoon. These are the lanes 10 -27. Two further combinations are available on the 27-hole course. 1-18 is Weihrerhofplatz, 19-9 runs as a chapel square.
On the Pumpernudl the first 9 holes are the much more strenuous, and in part it is already steeply up and down. In addition, one often also has lateral slantings. You have to like that. I prefer flat parkland courses. Not infrequently it is so that, if the tee has not gotten far enough, the second stroke is then blind.
Blind flights are often also on the way to the next tee off. The signage is not optimal and we have run out occasionally or were not really safe and had to ask. Very extreme right at the beginning when we had knocked off from the green of the 10 immediately from the adjoining tea and only then noticed that that was indeed the tee of the 18. A little confusing. Also later from 18 to 19.
Very exemplary, on the other hand, the signs of the individual railways at the tee-offs. These were all very well maintained, short mowed and in good condition. The greens were great, top maintained and very springtreu, only a bit slow.
Very pleasant is in the Holledau, that one (especially on the last 9 holes) hardly parallel lanes and all the tracks generously through the landscape. This is already a generous plant!
The people at the front desk as well as in the restaurant were invariably very friendly and good hosts. A pity that the restaurant terrace has no direct and close view of the golf course and is in front of the club house near the road. This does not make the stay there very appealing. But for that the food is very good and fair in the price.
Overall, we had a wonderful golfing day in the Holledau. Actually, everything was all right, but the many strenuous up and down and many inclines in every direction one must like, and for me it is simply nothing.
