Parkland golf south of Bonn in absolute nature

Last played on July 18,2020. The quite hilly 18-hole golf course on which Marcel Siem has held the course record with 63 shots since 2006, with an additional PAR 3 short course, is located south of Bonn and can be reached relatively quickly via the A61. The entire complex is located on a hill surrounded by fields and trees in peace and nature. In some places you have very nice views of the surroundings. The parkland course offers golfers some challenges without the big highlights. Above all, there are many tall and powerful trees, a few water hazards, doglegs, exclusion, well-placed bunkers and unfortunately a little disadvantageous, sometimes blind blows. Some tees require precise drives through the tall trees. High HC could have a few problems here and basically you should play strategically. The signal hole No. 10 (PAR3) and the 14 (from a higher tee / also PAR3) are the most beautiful holes in my view. The overall condition of our visit was okay, but some fairways had brown, dry or bald spots and the greens were not always impeccable but usually true. In view of this, the standard green fee of € 80 on weekdays and € 100 on weekends is too high. In addition, golfers without an "r" in their ID card, not in a way that promotes golf, pay an additional 25% surcharge. In my view, the "traditional club" doesn't give that away. But due to the club's participation in the Cologne Golf Week, there was a special green fee of € 49 in the tournament week. The clubhouse is functional, but offers everything golfers need and is separated from the restaurant by the parking lot (not tested). Starting times as a guest is best made early by phone to the very nice lady in the secretariat, since unfortunately online reservations are only reserved for members. On weekends, guests can generally only play to a limited extent anyway. The game was very busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon and unfortunately there were occasional waiting times for our game. However, the members were usually very friendly and the waiting times were short. I have a little feeling that the shine of the past few days has evaporated, but here you can definitely recommend a walk in nature.

Great place for the summer special

Great, slightly hilly, but still well-accessible place. Mount on on 5-6 holes. On the day of the match, all the charges were unplayable due to the lack of aerodynamics. Lots of greens with light mushroom infestation. The regular green fee is quite off the hook. Summer specials from May to September. Closed gastronomy on a sunny sunny Monday in September. A place you should not miss if you are in the area south of Bonn and the A61.

Really nice, interesting place in a quiet location

I like this place very well. Each track offers a playful challenge; but is designed fair. The course is very varied. Very good, friendly service (incl. Halfway House) and tasty food in the club's restaurant. Arrivals from 50 to 100 km worth it. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful and quiet location

Very beautiful and quiet location, good care condition, friendly staff (space Marshall to a lesser extent, but that's probably everywhere) ok, gastronomy, space rather difficult individual holes herausstechend (10,14) - driving range below average (no pichting green, no chipping green). Played at the Winter Golf Rallye - otherwise with green fee 80 € the week and 100 € too expensive at the weekend 20-30 €.
Pro: good care, good design, gastronomy, very quiet
Cons: range, green fee

In fact, one of the best golf courses in Germany

Although I've played about 40% of all places in Germany, I had never before managed to plant in Bad Neuenahr...
On Oct 8, the time had come. Despite temporarily in the drizzle - I've enjoyed the round! On really one of the finest golf facilities in D!
Scenic terrific, each track has something special. The sporting challenge is no lack, difficult corners are still fair. The condition, signage, service and friendliness in the office - everything was perfect. Well thought out from AZ. Even the subsequent meal in the restaurant: really good. Will I recommend to all my friends Golf. And very soon will come again!

One of the most beautiful places in Germany

Moderate located to challenging, varied and hilly at the lower Ahr Valley. Lovingly cared for and allowed by law only for HCP from 36. A fantastic golf experience for the discerning golfer! Come necessarily again, even in the nice clubhouse. Merely driving range can still be improved.

Top quality

In a time of drought, suffering in almost any golf club under ausgetrocktneten fairways, we were - six golfers - play on this place and were very impressed. Not only that, the place had lush green areas. My part was like a carpet.
An interesting place that is challenging but not nasty.
It offers a lot of variety and interesting ups and downs, ie places where you play on the mountain or the valley. Actually, no train is boring and always offers a lot of variety.
Annoying was that our seventh man who relies on a kart, could not play because the place was supposed to be wet. That was not understandable for all of us because we played the course yes.
Slightly annoyed, the Ranger, the incomprehensible often crossed our fairway, then this but failed, as we discussed in it.
The place is so beautiful that it is worth its own longer journeys.
Sweetened it all the more that we played him during the week in Cologne (during the week) and had only 44 € to pay instead of the usual € 80.
Come, see and enjoy!!!

ABSOLUTELY worth playing

Today I was with my wife at last on this place and it was visually and from state care just good. Blind shots and slopes are easy to play.
The space will be of all levels meet. Good fast greens and manicured Fairwais are standard here.
All par 3 holes are worth seeing, especially the tee at 17 is sensationally beautiful.

Conclusion: A very nice, varied and challenging course for players of any skill level.

Staff STEST friendly and helpful, and interested in the opinions of guest players.

We will definitely play this course more often now. even if he is at the upper price limit. But quality has its price now times and this place is definitely worth.

Very nice place

Caveat: I've played in a training ride only the front nine.

If you write about something is "come into old age", then mostly sound negative. At installation of Golf and Country Club Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is consistently positive sense!!! This golf course is great into the landscape and the now more than 35 years of wonderful grown (although sometimes has the consequence that many greens are covered with small branches and flowers that make the turkey quite difficult). The tracks are often closely, challenging, varied and little alike. Because of the topography, it is quite hilly and sloping positions you have to master frequently. This also makes the course challenging. These occasional blind tee, I - like the ups and downs - not like so much. The greens were not the fastest for my taste, but spotless and directional stability.

The condition of the entire system is very good with great attention to detail as random as flower beds at discount boxing. And then I can still note that I have met in the reception and restaurant as well as on the court very nice, friendly people. Is not the case everywhere...

Class place and well worth a visit! But if you have played a morning dream round in Lärchenhof, then it can only be a 4 star - but with much conviction!!

Best place south of Cologne

Yes, the place is very expensive. But who has not been annoyed that a good shock / putt because of the space was different than theoretically!?
This place is demanding, topp maintained and now once one of the BEST - it's worth it.

Rightly the most beautiful place in the Rhineland

The golf course in Bad Neuenahr is exceptional. Both the topography and the design of the tracks are indeed challenging, but a spoiled again by beautiful views of a great landscape. Despite the very wet summer and autumn, the golf course is in excellent condition - especially the very good greens.
May be mentioned the good food. With much love the dishes are cooked. And in the frame with starched napkins and tablecloths you really feel comfortable.

Maintained golf facility in peaceful surroundings

Overall, a very well maintained golf course. The first holes require accurate shots, because the fairways are lined with trees. After five holes, the terrain is more open. The par 3 set because of the topography and the coming into play of water hazards are a challenge. The greens are fast and directional stability.
The green fee is indeed at the upper limit, but the place is worth it.

Very nice!

I've played the course in mid-December. The place is in a very good condition. Bunkers and water hazards are well placed. The course is demanding and you need to bring in any case good condition as it is very hilly. The staff was very friendly. Can definitely recommend the place, I would stay here again.

Simply good!

This is a really nice golf course with all the challenges. Pretty expensive, but once you can do that, yes. One step behind the towering Bad Ems, but not far behind!
