The clubhouse is on a hill. The lanes run around the clubhouse and always offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The layout starts in an open parkland style, on the back 9 the design changes to similar elements to the left. First of all: We have never met so many nice people, on the pitch (we were allowed to play through without any problems and “unsolicited”), in the office and especially in the parking lot. We were asked several times about our plans, there was an interest in the mobile home and the combination with golf. And that goes well with the place and the club, both of which have a very down-to-earth and warm-hearted feel.
At first we didn't like the first 9 holes that much. But this was perhaps also due to the drive that was in our bones, plus 2 play-through maneuvers, which are not without hectic. In addition, the nearby country road rustles a bit and with a few lanes you come towards each other - if there is little space. But still interesting, not too long holes and varied. We found the second 9 holes really great: It felt longer, a lot around the corners, to play tricky, nice looks, more calm - and we slowly got better. In addition, the greens and fairways are in good condition, nature and landscape are well integrated, overall a really good, nice and quiet place that we like to visit again when we drive north. Spend the night with the motorhome without any problems and well.

I played the course for the first time on July 12,2020 as part of an 18-hole tournament. Based on the latest reviews I read here before, I was prepared for the worst...
However, I have noticed that extensive improvements have taken place since the last review in 2018. The fairways were in excellent condition, practically no foreign grasses, the quality of the greens was very good, and the different plateaus also presented an appropriate challenge for ambitious players.
I also really liked the layout of the course, there can be no question of "irrelevant meadow" here with the best (worst) will.
The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to Covid, which was not due to the club or place, but rather the hygiene rules imposed.
All in all, I can recommend the place with a clear conscience as absolutely worth playing. For everyone who played here for the last time in 2018, the place "for a second chance" is recommended.

Played on 23.06.2013 as a spontaneous visit, because time was short...
The place is now extended to 18 holes. But you can see in many places that the remodeling process is not yet complete.
We have only played the first 9 holes. Play went on Sunday morning in fine weather golf without any waiting period and without reservation. An indication that the club could still tolerate some members. The tracks look quite attractive and the water hazards are nicely laid out. It is mostly in demand in the first 9 holes precise game, because although the tracks are not too long, but sometimes riddled in the right places with very varied obstacles are (fairway bunkers, trees in the middle of the fairway, ...).
The greens were very different and without knowing the place, you could distinguish well between new (very good) and old (rather moderate) greens.
Unfortunately we had some way to the tee (especially for 1) pretty looking as the signs seem to have developed, or needs to be changed to 18 holes. The tee signs are awkwardly placed, so that they often can not read when you go to the tee.

If you only play 9 hole course that is a lot bisshen. If you play more holes it is cheaper. The clubhouse is just built and everything seemed a little tentative. The Secretariat is friendly.
