This course will test you if the weather is kind you will take pictures, Booked it through Hotel Don Paco yes e12 for mid week am tee. The greens are superb no ball eating rough, it is an excellent design and layout with views like Kouri Cliffs NZ at a 1/40 of the price. Forget those over manicured golf courses in the South surrounded by I’ve got one better than your Villa along every fairway, this has mountains falling into the ocean, it’s natural it has shape.
If you have to play it twice a week you will become a very good player but some may give up altogether. It’s a Must.

Played course beginning October, although put holes and sand on green they ran well, quite a testing course for the high handicapper as our group is but its worth playing just for the fantastic scenery of llanes and sea one side and picos mountains on other.

I played the course many years ago (around 2006) and was absolutely thrilled with the prospects. Like all previous evaluators, I can confirm that it is not maintained at the top level, and that is not what you are looking for here. One of the most beautiful golf courses that I was allowed to play in 18 years.
Who loves golf also because of the spectacular golf courses, comes here in Llanes fully at his expense. Breathtaking panoramas and a pleasing links course layout, challenging lanes, but always fair to deal with, make this place a very good one. Considering that the place belongs to the municipality of Llanes and the green fee with € 35 in the main season is ridiculously cheap, I would actually have awarded 5 points. Today I even played for 12.50 €, because it was freshly punched and sanded. I thought that was extremely fair, besides that you could still putt quite well.
However, the facilities such as changing rooms, showers, toilets and restaurants in a, even by Spanish standards, miserable condition. In the locker room and shower was mold on the walls. In the restaurant you were completely overwhelmed, with about 20 guests at the same time and you gave me to understand that unfortunately I could not get food, because that would take at least an hour and then you close. Thats really sad. The place / club would have the makings of one of the top 50 clubs in Europe. For my part, I would like to pay a bit more if the infrastructure would be suitable for that.

Between snowy mountains and the Asturian cliffs on a plateau, we could play the place of Llanes in early April.
But the view on the individual tracks was breathtaking, plus perfect greens and a PAR 3 on track 11, where you can tee off directly to the sea. A great place from which with a little more dedication to the care of the fairways, paths and plants can become something really good. In any case, an insider tip for golf enthusiasts, who has made it into this area. The prices are pleasantly civil (€ 59,00 for 2 persons at the weekend). In addition, the area around Llanes has many more tourist attractions to offer.

A very special golf course thanks to an exceptional backdrop.
The course is located on an elongated hill amidst a very hilly landscape directly in the cliffs above the sea. The topography gives the impression that the top of the hill was flattened with extensive earthworks for the construction of the airfield, which was operated here until the 60s of the last century. The place can therefore be handled very comfortably on foot.
The view of the peaks of the Picos de Europa can be enjoyed in one direction, and on the other side the view of the sea and the bays and cliffs beneath it comes into play again and again.
The layout of the course is surprisingly good and varied, it is fun and is quite challenging, even the close par 5 at the beginning on the 1st one on the coming challenges. The condition was ok, the greens were very good and reasonably fast.
And all this for an incredibly cheap green fee of 25 euros during the week outside the main season, we played by chance on Thursdays at the "dìa del jugador" for half price, that is for as much as 12.50 euros.
Why only 4 stars? Well, it's a community-owned place (the same place as the La Cuesta club with its own entry, both are one and the same place). The nursing budget is certainly lower than in most private clubs, especially given the low green fees - everything looks a bit run-down, from the clerical reception, to haircuts and fairways, to the bar and restaurant. That costs a star.
In the whole package but highly recommended, a must, if you are in the area and want to golf. You will enjoy it.

For me, definitely the most beautiful place I have ever played (at least more than 60) and at just 50 € for 2 people on a Sunday in the postseason (Oktober!). There is a left course with some reminiscent of GB pot bunkers. The first 9 holes are above Llanes (a nice little not too touristy fishing village) and runs parallel to the sea, following in operation since May 2013 holes go more into the interior with a very nice view of the mountains (Picos de Europa). Apart from the scenery of the course is challenging but fair! Simply a must for any golfer who should do in this holiday region. In addition, the course is identical to the listed Club de la Cuesta Llanes.
