Characteristics
The golf course is situated in the idyllic landscape of Prekmurje, richly blessed with natural beauty and cultural memorials, in the thermal spring town Moravske Toplice. The course spreads like a green natue park around the facility of thermal bathand offers both practised players and beginners a lot of fun at the game.
Especially challenging is hole number 9, a par 5, nearly 600 metres long - the longest one in Slovenia!

Wide, open fairways, well maintained, very long holes, maybe even too long. Friendly reception staff, well informed. Hotel terrace nice for a coffee or drink after the game.

After 2024, we'll be back in Livada; this place is truly not the most beautiful place in Slovenia, there are many better places.
The fairways look okay, but are very hard and uneven; the balls bounce in all directions but not straight. There are also numerous bare patches on the fairways. The bunkers are a bit hard, but manageable.
The greens had been aerated, and rather coarse sand had been used to try and fill the holes. Putting was rather pointless because it was unpredictable, but this work was absolutely necessary because the greens were very soft.
You can play Livada, but it's not a highlight!

We always look forward to going to Slovenia to play golf, followed by relaxing at the thermal baths or in the pool. The golf course is very well maintained and the greens are perfect. There's plenty of shade, so you can play comfortably even in summer. We also play in winter, as the course, with its adjacent thermal baths, is ideal for that time of year, and if the weather isn't cooperating, it's not a problem. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are plenty of greenkeepers around, and they are also very friendly and always try to clear the fairways quickly when they're working. After the 10th hole, you can refresh yourself at the halfway house and get back into the game without any stress. An electric cart is recommended if you prefer a more relaxed approach, as the course is quite large and some of the tee boxes are quite far apart.
