July 7,2013 La Finca offers wide and clear fairways for all golfers but a few very challenging approaches to green islands. Running water, olive trees, wild birds and small canyons with bridges also characterize the course. No stunning elements but a nice and playable course. The service was friendly both at the club house and at the restaurant.

We visited both the course and the facility. As an urbanization it cannot be compared with Las Colinas. But I like the place better.
Not easy to play in January. Humidity, wind and altitude do not allow the balls to fly as far. I was always surprised that the ball was too short. The greens were mown short, putting was not easy due to the very fast greens, a 3 putt was played quickly. The fairways are varied, every hole to be played is a new challenge.
A course to play alongside the courses at Las Colinas, Vista Bella and Lo Romero! These are our favorites.

We really liked the facility (Hcp 9/12). The condition was excellent from AZ. This is how golf is fun.
The biggest challenge is definitely the length. There are no further challenges. You can happily hit the ball and rarely have to worry about losing a ball.
The flow of the game would have been terrible, because a large group of snails, divided into 8-10 flights, played in front of us. 7 (!) let us pass - we've never experienced that before. Was cool, even if it felt like speed golf. Regardless, we were very happy. But: Apparently large groups are carted here, so that traffic jams can arise behind them.
The staff in the pro shop, at the start, on the lap and in the restaurant were very friendly. Speaking of the restaurant: very friendly service and a very English menu (plus pizza/hamburgers). Unfortunately almost nothing local.

We played 4 courses in Costa Blanca in a week and this one leaves me with mixed feelings.
On the one hand it is a very nice facility with a friendly welcome and a very impressive clubhouse with a wonderful terrace. Also, we have not experienced on any other golf course that the tee times were really managed. So the marshal sent us on the round 15 minutes earlier. On the round we were asked twice if everything was to our satisfaction and ultimately it was checked that we could get through without stress before sunset.
On the other hand, there is a layout that often forces you with a medium handicap to use the longest possible club in order to arrive at all with a tolerable number of clubs. The water hazards are numerous, the ditches deep. A ball is usually really gone, even if you can still see it. In addition, I have the psychological effect that although the goal is far, the course often does not offer any real obstacles, so that every failure is really just one's own inability and is not due to any adversity. That may sound strange, but for me it has a higher potential for frustration than, for example, Las Ramblas, which is teeming with obstacles.
Overall, we played the fastest lap here with 3:50 hours. At the Sundowner rate, the course is definitely worth the green fee. He is only slightly behind Las Colinas, but from the gut it was the least nice golfing experience for me and my partner, even though the score at the end was similar to the other three days.

We played two rounds here in 2007, used the resort - again this time - were/are very satisfied. The resort and course are currently being highly praised in the media - we can understand that.
The memories are not so numerous, very warm, dry, hard and with a lot of wind. The notes gave away, the driver was glowing, the score wasn't, the balls weren't where we wanted them to be...
This is not so obvious today, it's still dry but it's very neat to play, you can still see green. Maintenance far better than 2007!!!
The layout is good, but doesn't convey that much excitement, an open course in not entirely flat terrain, with some moderate terrain transitions. On foot it is quite easy to master.
You can really step on the gas here, hardly any fairway bunkers, the fairways are usually wide enough and trees rarely bother you.
The greens match the course, not that difficult, they were slow today.
We give this facility four stars, the lot had to decide four or five.
Variety is a bit lacking for us and most of the Hoyos are straight.
