Specatular views.

A modern course with good variation is surrounded by huge Mountains, implying fantastic views.

Wonderful course

Great course, in good condition and very friendly service from all the staff. Spectacular setting in a valley with high mountains around you. It takes about 1 1/2 hours drive from Nice but it definitely was worth it!

...in the top 30 France...

...rightly so, we think...

We stopped here for the first time in 2001, shocked by the events in New York, a peaceful oasis. The atmosphere was depressed and the scores were really bad - it was almost impossible to concentrate.
For years we had the plan to revisit the courses that were under these events.

The course, which opened in 1992, had already received the highest consecrations back then, and today it is ranked 25th in the list of the Top 100 France.
We can follow Kalle, the high plateau and the mountain panorama make up for it.

We know of over a dozen courses built by Gary Player, all very good - most world class like this one.

An hour and a half drive from Cannes to get here - it's fine for a day trip - we're staying a little longer. Just getting there is something special.

The vegetation still needs some time, the altitude of around 1000 meters above sea level is responsible. The course maintenance is top - what you could already do is done.

It's been less than a month since the season opened.

Necessarily play!

We played the golf course in the middle of May in a light rain and were really impressed despite the weather. The fairways are well maintained, the greens are spur and the individual holes are designed interesting. The environment is just fantastic and the peace in the square has rarity value. The green fee is favorable for southern France (Euro 75,00). The staff - especially in the Proshop - are very friendly. The journey to the golf course is an experience in itself - absolutely play!

The best in the area

If you do not want to turn down € 180 this is the place. In April you can play 2 for 1. Hammer attachment. Everything in very good condition. The Proshop and staff extremely accommodating. No boring hole. The mistral can cause headaches when choosing a club - :). If in the area this is a crap play

Fantastic golf course!

A beautiful golf course in the hinterland of Nice, Cannes and Grasse in the center of the impressive nature of the Gorges du Verdon. Located at 1,000 meters at the foot of the mountains, Parkland Course was designed by Gary Player and offers a variety and variety of 18 holes that only a few golf courses can offer. He is suitable for both amateur and professional golfer and despite some challenges always fun. For me one of the absolute top places in France. Not just the playful challenge and ambiance of Terre de Blanche's more famous top course in the South of France, but its clear advantage due to the tranquility, the more impressive nature and the significantly better price-performance ratio.
Bottom line: It's just the unbelievably beautiful ambience and tranquility that this place offers with a playful challenge rarely experienced. Absolutely recommendable!

Absolute hammer place

If you stay on the Côte d'Azur or in Provence, it would be a sin if you skipped this place.
Located in the hinterland of Nice / Cannes at about 1000 m altitude in a dreamlike landscape surrounded by forests, Taulane offers everything that even a spoiled golfer's heart could wish for: Varied and demanding fairways, excellent greens, good infrastructure, courteous staff and good food. Next to Terre Blanche probably the best place in southern France.
PS On May 11,2018, the bunkers were not playable because filled with water on the previous days after heavy thunderstorms. But nobody can do anything except Peter. And you do not necessarily have to play in the bunker...

Beautiful place in wonderful landscape

Very well-kept place in the pre-Alps of Provence. The greens were very good, fast and faithful, although it had previously rained heavily. Unfortunately also slow game, which the whole thing missed. Definitely worth the money, nice staff. As is often the case in France, the signposting is suboptimal, ie, the internal navi. Greenfee was 88.-, which is in relation to Terre Blanche a bargain. The paths are varied and remain in the memory.

A dream

29.06.17 I can only confirm the previous ratings. Everything is right here. Ambiance, from the driving range over the pitching area to the greens. Everything at a very high level. The staff are very attentive. The place is actually short of yellow, but not too light. Very varied. After the round a short chat with the Master of ceremony (in English) - pleasing. The price / performance ratio is right. GF + Lunch 75 €. Looking forward to the second round, but then by the white tee-offs.

World class course

A very round design is Garry Player succeeded in Taulane! In one of the most beautiful scenery in Europe, built the small South Africans a real world-class place! Quiet lanes draw in front of a breathtaking mountain panorama, through the magnificent coniferous forest!
The greens are among the best in the whole Provenve!!!
For me, better than Terre Blanch ... !!!

Beautiful is not

We had played Taulane about 10 years ago, and I had great memories of him. The whole journey from the coast here I was looking forward to the course - and was not disappointed. Beautiful is not, at least if you - like us - even caught a dream day. The place was in absolute top condition, secretary and starter were extremely friendly. The railways require some specific curves and offer a lot of good golfers challenges without being unfair for not so good golfers. Clubhouse and terrace are extremely prestigious and probably hard to beat. Who can not enjoy one days here should change the sport.

Absolutely great!

Of all the places previously played in more than 20 years, Chateau Taulane I still like best! The place was always in good 1000m (been there several times) in excellent condition, clubhouse, pro shop, hotel, the entire facility is very well equipped, friendly staff... what more could you want. Situated on a plateau offering 18 holes everything you could wish for: forest, hilly and sprawling webs! Even a slightly longer journey from the Côte d'Azur (Nice / Cannes) is worthwhile in any case!
In any case, highly recommended!
