The pick of the bunch

This course has the authentic feel of a course designed to enhance the geography of its environs. If you can negotiate the many dangerous and watery fairways, you'll find yourself on greens which benefit from natural undulations and speedy surfaces. In places your club and shot selection will determine whether you thrive, rather than your power; there is much to finesse. You'll probably use every club in your bag.
We played four courses along the southern Breton coast and all agreed that this one was by far the most attractive to the amateur golfer who wants a good day out, including views and the challenge of demanding and varied holes.

This course is an absolute gem, provided you can navigate safely the many blind shots over the undulating dunes. We were fortunate to play the course with two locals who were able to help out.
Those of you who like a links style course will not be disappointed, the icing on the cake are the superb greens which would do Augusta National proud. Large undulating and in beautiful condition, your putting needs to be in top form.
Highly recommended but not for beginners.

We were able to play the course in glorious sunshine and a pleasant 22° light wind from the west. The place is very well maintained overall, however, it is slowly drying out due to nature.
The greens are in very good and well-kept condition.
Again and again, you think. Ground in repair, since the wild boars used to live here. Holes 2-6 offer beautiful views of the sea. Otherwise always beautiful views. The secretariat is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with the mobile home and we were able to stay overnight free of charge directly at the parking lot and we were also offered the option of standing there longer. The restaurant offers excellent quality at a very reasonable price. However, it closes at 3:30pm.

Super course layout

I played the course early this morning in fantastic weather. The negative first: the course was ultra dry, partly with cracks on the particularly sun-exposed waves of the greens and there was a visit from the local wild boar cohort the night before, which devastated some well-watered front greens, which led to a green fee reduction of €50 (including trolley and in the main season) without being asked by the very nice staff at the reception. Nonetheless, or more, it's a lovely course with left-hand aspects on the second and parkland on the front nine (the order has recently been reversed). Except for the three holes (three of which are very similar, all a good 170m from white), no two holes are alike and good course management is rewarded. From time to time you really have space to drive, otherwise the course is rather narrow, especially because of the dry fairways. Wonderful views of Pouldu Bay included... Great fun, can't wait to come back. In even better condition that's definitely 5 stars!!!

Already the reception was very nice, luckily you also spoke English and sent me with a totally likeable French couple (also the languages English) on the round. Having locals with them was a big advantage, with the frequent blindshots over the dunes. - The fairways of course saw the super summer 2018, mostly brown and hard. St Andrews did not look any better at the Open. For that one had insane lengths, the ball rolled and rolled. The greens were perfect and very good to play. Partly playing with ocean view including free sea scent. It is probably not a true links course, there are not only dunes and scrub but also trees and water, which offers a lot of variety and what I have savored. With Spielvorgabe 17, I felt very comfortable on the pitch. Very wide fairways and a few tight spots alternate. Overall, however, I found that I had more space for drives than at home. Since the first day was so much fun, I made an appointment with the two locals on the same day.
