Disappointing value

Played the course today for second time in 3 years. We booked and ask if course was wet or ok? We were told is fine maybe little wet - we the payed 315 Euros for two (1 electric trolley, 1 normal - buggys prohibited).
There were water in almost every water hazard and they were out of order!! We walked in water on many fairways (had to move ball) 3 greens were very slow due to water - so in no way - a course in ordinary play mode. We played all 18 but were sure to get a discount (-50%) but NO, NO, all normal, again unfortunately, I now know what its like not to be French, just a special kind of particular arrogance - we will not be back despite the course natural beautynot to

Strenuous but worth it!

Almost 800 m above sea on a mountain ridge below Mt. Agel: what a lovely surprise! Great Golfcourse currently in excellent condition. Very clean greens. Good fairways. To lengthen the course a new hole #5 has been added: You must cross the street for access. A scenic par 3. All in all this is a hilly course. Carrying the bag might even be easier than a push cart. The receptionist is unfriendly. The other staff are good. I played it twice end of April 2013: great fun! Drink a "Menthe à lait glacé" at the bar afterwards: a delight!

Noblesse Oblige

By far this is the most scenic course i have played in. You should come in a bright day, the mountains of Corsica are in sight. Technically interesting but not too hard, obviously well kept and very very expensive but once in life you can do it and feel good. Club house of charming vintage style, locker rooms nice but showers a little poor compared with the environment.

Nice layout and always fair despite the hillside location.

PLAYED HP12 SEPTEMBER 2021.
Nice layout and always fair despite the hillside location. Fairways and greens in good condition. Bunker very hard and little sand. After 3 laps fog came up. The visibility was sometimes less than 50 m. There was no flight in front of us and there was a lot of distance to the night flight. Normally we should have been taken off the seat and the green fee of EUR 130 per person had to be reimbursed. Service leaves a lot to be desired here. Clubhouse closed on Mondays. Proshop well sorted and friendly, which cannot be said about the reception. Dogs are allowed to be taken along, but nobody cares about the little heaps. Despite poor visibility, we played through with a ball in 3.45 hours. We could only guess at the much-praised view.

Grenade!

High above Monaco in bright sunshine and great views (an extra point with this spectacular mountain panorama) an unforgettable golfing pleasure! The course maintenance at a height of almost 1,000 meters (the journey to the club alone is great) is outstanding!
The design by the Scotsman Willie Dunn jun. from 1906 is spectacular! The layout is great fun and to be able to enjoy the whole thing, I strongly recommend a buggy! With four people in a buggy, the round on the Monte Carlo high-class course costs us 155, - €!
This golf experience was worth every penny!

In the top 100...

... in France, in our hit list he is not rated as high.

It may be our first round, then we would almost have died of thirst. The restaurant was closed and our water supply too low.

Our notes reveal that we were here last time in 2000.

High above the Mediterranean Sea with a fantastic view of the same, which wants to rob you of the concentration. The condition is required, he is exhausting.

The score card is deceptive, the course is demanding, the terrain takes care of that.

Good facility, which is very well maintained - but not great for us. No players have awarded five stars.

Spectacular course high above Monte Carlo

A sensational view combined with an excellent care condition and varied space design make this course a great experience. The green fee is not exactly cheap, but worth every euro. The club is noble and luxurious but not snobby. Both reception and pro shop were very friendly.

Suggestive experience

I have been spending my summer and winter holidays on the French Riviera for a few years now, as a golf player for about 7 years now.
I have visited many golf courses, but the thrill of playing in this field is always very strong.
Il Campo is in perfect condition. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Definitely recommend it.

Mountains high

A place in the mountains high above Monte Carlo with a fantastic view of the Côte. The course is located in France above the village of La Turbie and is spectacularly reached by serpentine roads. You are relaxed, the members are friendly, the welcome is nice and you feel good. Laisser faire, laisser passer and savoir vivre in pure culture.
The place is tricky and hilly, sometimes narrow but fair, the greens well maintained and consistent. You should be able to place the ball and bring a little fitness; it goes uphill, downhill. The Proshop is highly recommended and rarely well sorted, you keep all sizes and qualities. Brand names are unimportant, quality comes first.

Noblesse oblige

A beautiful and absolutely fantastic place. Dreamlike location above Monte Carlo, interesting and varied applied. Partial bit tight - players who can place their ball, have more fun. Overall, good maintenance. An absolute "must play" if you want to play on the Cote d'Azur Golf and enjoy the finer white.

Although understands the club as elitist, meet staff members and guests very unpretentious.

Toller ProShop. Note: The restaurant is only open at lunchtime. The buggies are not recommended, better rent a (electric) trolley.

I will definitely be back...

I played the course in early October.

By taxi from the harbor about 70 euros.

Green fee incl. Rental clubs and cart 230 Euro.

I was worth the fun.

Reception and secretarial extremely friendly and multilingual.

Start of tea one very flexible (had me on the range a little "playful"). In nachherein it has turned out it it was the club director. Very, very nice.

The place is absolutely fair and forgiving. Rather broad but by no means boring up and down. Condition of the fairways 2-3, the (very fast) greens a second

The view really very very nice for most tracks. We have more photos shot hit the balls;-)

Portaloos / outhouses I did not expect in Monte Carlo, but were - dressed nice - in two places on the court. Very clean.

Golfers who we met on extremly friendly. Through games was never a problem. Waiting times towards zero.

Gastronomy very relaxed. Prices moderate, drinks and food at normal levels.

ProShop: very extensively and extremly friendly staff.

We'll be back for sure. It was worth it.

Beautiful place but otherwise..

Have played the square end of July 2013. Greens and fairways of the hot weather really well maintained accordingly, more concrete bunker sand... Of a place in this price range you would expect more convenience. No way to go buy drinks, Dixi Klo on the back 9 holes, changing not sensational. Nevertheless, should you play the course. Super views of Monaco and the sea - and when to play again in Monte Carlo :-)

High and noble

If you want to play golf on the Côte d'Azur, you should visit the place of the small Principality once. He is far above the Principality of about 800 m above sea level at La Turbie with some breathtaking views of the sea and the casino together with the Principality. Should you have there the evening before something filled his cash, you can pay the green fee, but the bank always wins... The green fee during the week costs 120 euros, 150 euros on weekends (as of 2010). The place is beautifully maintained and is exemplary in the landscape. It is an old place, not very long, but still challenging. It's a wonder how anyone could come up with the idea to create a golf course at this point, but some of it is so small in Monaco possible, which is unthinkable elsewhere.
Frequently, clouds over the place, which makes for playing something opaque...
I would have also given the place five stars if it were not the high price. Some places in Germany are better maintained, equivalent of design, but considerably cheaper. But the green fees on the Côte d'Azur are simply here as high as the whole life.
I can recommend the place to play around. He is also sporting a big challenge, but he has significant level differences that stimulate the respiratory rate while running.
Bonne game!
