We played the course in June 2023. If you are in the area it is definitely worth playing the course.
We were received very friendly at the reception.
There are two courses, we played the course Le Mer, which surprises with varied tracks.
The course condition is good, fairways and tees okay.
Bunkers and greens played well, although the pace of the greens varied.
Unfortunately, there was nothing to eat in the clubhouse after the round, which is a shame because the club terrace was very nice.

At each tee you have a short story of the troops that fought there and their generals. That is unusually interesting. We chose the place because of the many positive reviews (also from this forum) and of course because of the historical environment and the view. The latter was fully confirmed and was an impressive experience. The layout of "La Mer" itself was rather average from the layout. In addition, the green fee of € 90 is already rather high compared to the other available courses in Normandy. Otherwise the place was in good shape, the greens were nice, with break and fast, the roughs mowed, the staff very friendly and helpful. So overall a nice experience, but from a purely golfing point of view there is better value for money in this wonderful region spoiled by good golf courses.
